In a world far from ours, a war is raging.

Humans and Mobians have been living side by side for eons, but now the boundaries are fading. The human population has increased tenfold in the last two decades, pushing more and more Mobians (animal human hybrids) out of the land that was once theirs.

Practically led on by the evil Dr. "Eggman" Robotnik, the humans have nearly covered the entire planet. Mobians face persecution almost everywhere; danger lurks around every corner.

But for some, they face the worst kind of danger every day.

In the heat of battle, these few Mobians remain strong.

They are the Resistance.
