Scratch's and Rip's territory(Enter and be attacked)[Unless you're invited]
 

Scratch is a frankly horrid brown tom, covered in scars. He hates most other cats, and if you enter his territory, he will likely attack you immediately(unless your cat is easily manipulated, in which case he will use them). He values strength, and weakness is intolerable.

Rip is his daughter. She is a bit more complicated. She was born to Scratch and his mate. She was picked from the beginning to be the strongest of the kits, and trained from an early age. Finally, she killed all of her siblings on her father's orders, causing her mother to leave. She was a ruthless killer for a long time, until she met Coal. She became softer, until her father found out.

Coal is a fluffy black kittypet who charmed Rip. For the first time in her life, she felt real love, and warmth. But when Scratch found out he kidnapped him, and is holding him as leverage for Rip's cooperation. She must do as he says, or he will kill Coal. He desperately wants to go back do his kittypet life, and is even beginning to dislike Rip for getting him into this. He isn't fed very well, and he has no fighting skills whatsoever, so he can't do anything to escape.

Their territory is a stretch of woods, with a small stream running through it. With a small hill in the center, they can see their entire territory, and control everything around. Anyone who enters un-invited will be attacked or manipulated into doing their bidding. Their dens are in the hill, and one is walled up as a prison of some sort.

Blade stalked threw the territory. Yeah she knew she was in some else’s territory but who cared? The cats that lived here? Then they could deal with her. The large silver and grey molly looked around with a disdainful look on her face. Pathetic. All of this is wasted. Blade paused to look around. Mother would laugh herself to death if she saw this scrap of land. “Anyone here?” She called kicking at a rock. Oooh! It scratched her. @gs29513 (Blade is completely insane. Just warning you. “Just dandy. How are you Purps?” Blade asked. Avoid the question idiot. Blade smiled at this cat. This wouldn’t turn out well now. Why hadn’t she stood in a shadowy place? Now the game was probably over. Blade had just lost another toy or whatever. A slash on her shoulder stung bringing her mother’s words back. You look like a fox hearted dog chew toy! Oh why did she think this now?

Scratch emerged from his den, stretching. Then, he noticed the two cats having a PLEASANT CONVERSATION in his TERRITORY! Maybe..........play nice first? Walking down with a purr, he mewed Sorry to interrupt your conversation, but would you be willing to.......take it somewhere else? I do live here you know, and your talking makes sleep difficult. See, pretty harmless. He was doing well here. But, his claws were unsheathing, slowly, softly into the grass. @Mal @~-Stealth-~

Lovely. One down. One to go. With a hiss, Scratch stalked forward, an almost purr rumbling in his throat. Best not tell you. Best just show you just what I mean. he spat, before lunging forward with the speed of a snake, his claws slicing for her chest before he slipped back again. He might be a little older, but he wasn't letting his body get ruined, not at all. (FYI, no killing or major injuries, have your cat leave after a bit maybe? I want to do another rp here pre-arranged) @Mal

As her claws slid across his muzzle, Scratch got a BIT more annoyed. Not that there was much annoyance left to go actually, with her being in his territory and being a butt about things overall. It appeared he would have to teach the nutter a lesson. With a hiss he added Thank you! before slicing his claws along her shoulder. THAT ought to hurt. @Mal

She lashed out one last time at his shoulder as payback. Blade rolled her eyes easily loosing interest. "Know what? I'll go find somewhere else to go." She said turning and trotting off ignoring the slash on her shoulder. @gs29513 (Off she goes.)

Purps jumped over the cat and attempted a clean ear cuff then continued running.
(Next time, say like ' She attempted to tear her tail, and if that worked, she would slam her into the wall. ' Saying that you did it, instead of giving other people a chance to dodge or react, is powerplaying.)

"Agh!" The newly crowned rouge was slammed against the wall. "Who knew a kit's attack could hurt?" She sprang up and with little remaining strength, managed to attempt a solemn kick in the face before heading into the forest.

Finally! With a sigh, Scratch turned, and quickly retreated to his den, pausing only to give a kick and a angry word to the tree stump. Hopefully Rip would be back soon. He was hungry by now, and his nest didn't have enough fur in it. Ugh. He'd have to start using the black cat for some once it got to be leafbare. Fur and fresh-kill now that he thought about it.

Coal lay shivering inside the tree stump, flinching noticeably as Scratch kicked it, one of the other toms claws piercing the wood. PIERCING THE WOOD! A tiny bit of light shone in, but it was enough. Scrabbling on the mixture of filth and dead leaves, he got to it, shoving his claws in and trying to make it larger, larger, large enough maybe to see out? Not that he could get his BODY out of it. But and eye? Maybe. Many minutes of labor later, he could peer out, eyes almost blinded by the sun he hadn't seen in a moon. And if he looked carefully, he could see a silhouette against it, as it set into the trees. His thankfully not quite so destroyed nose quivered, telling him it was Rip. And another cat. He wasn't sure who, and he wasn't sure why, but he could almost see a bit of them now, a lighter, brighter silhouette. Like a tongue of fire.

A bit apprehensively, Rip approached, crossing the well marked border as though it was nothing, although really, it was. With a nod to Blazing, she mewed I'll go get my father. You......wait here. I don't want to alarm him. Because she knew, that if not properly warned and warmed to the idea, her father was VERY hostile to cats entering his territory, having killed quite a few. Kits even. Passing the stump without a glance, in case her father was watching, she strode into the highest cave, ominously framed by the skulls of foxes, prey and if you looked closely.......cats.

With a deep breath, she called towards the back, where her father had his nest. Scratch? I.......have someone I want you to meet. Just........a new rogue, who........might want to stay with us a little bit. She's really nice. She'll help us, at least until she leaves. She babbled, nervous, nervous, nervous. She heard a huff, and the soft swish of his fur as it slid past all the fur in his nest. And now, the hard part. The actual meeting. Turning swiftly on her heel, she was out the door again, beside Blazing even before her father emerged, slipping her a quick word. Here he comes. Look tough.

It seemed his idiot daughter had brought home ANOTHER stray. With a sigh, Scratch roused himself, making his way into the sunlight, and gazing down at the she-cat. She did look fairly fierce, but he had to see for himself. He didn't want to fight her. Judging by the scratches they both bore, it had already happened and it had been fairly even. He just wanted to ask a few questions. But not tell her much. Best to keep her in ignorance as to.....certain things. As he passed the stump, he was fairly sure he could see a small hole in it. Ugh. Decay was NOT his friend. He made a mental not to fix that later, but for now, he aimed a vicious hiss in its direction, before stopping.

Good that she had stayed outside his territory. At least she was presumably NOT going to just barge in. Already better than most it seemed. His voice taking on a somewhat honeyed tone, he mewed Welcome. As you may have gathered, this is where I live, with my daughter. Fake sweetness. More like his minion. She tells me that you'd.....like to stay with us a while? Why have you moved into these parts? Has there been a twoleg problem somewhere. This bit was genuine curiosity, at least until he could pick up a scent. @Lynxpaw (Forgive me, I got carried away.)

She seemed quite wells spoken, which could be a cause for suspicion, or not. She might be trying to manipulate, toy with him, but he didn't think he had to fear that. She couldn't put one over on him. So, his voice maintaining a honeyed tone, he purred scratchily. You are of course welcome to stay with us, until you find somewhere to live! Hopefully it would go smoothly, and she would be out in a quarter moon or less. He didn't want her knowing to much after all. It seemed Rip liked her, and he didn't particularly want to have to hurt another one of her friends. He needed to maintain some trust after all. Casting a glance at his fidgeting daughter, he purred Why don't you show Blazing to the spare den? There should be a nest there. With a spin on his heel, he was gone, aiming one last kick at the stump, and a hiss for only Coal, before going to hunt. You've been replaced KITTYPET.

Stalling her nervous movements with supreme effort, Rip nodded quickly to her father before turning to Blazing. It was a relief actually how little he had objected. Hopefully he didn't have a sinister plan. She was normally into those, but when it involved her friends......not so much. Come on! We've got you a nest to make! she purred, trying to sound lighthearted. Really she should be, but somehow she couldn't seem to summon that feeling. Something was off, she couldn't tell what. Still, no sense worrying now. Bounding off, she made her way to the den, finding it did indeed have a nest, be it a bit stale. @Lynxpaw

Coal had seen the claws flash at him, heard the hiss. He couldn't quite understand what had been said, even though he heard the words. He had been replaced? By who? But as he took in the ginger she-cat, it began to make sense. Rip had a new friend. What if she stopped feeding him? What if her father just........killed him? What if, what if, what if. He didn't want to think about them, but he couldn't help it. It seemed there was only one thing to do. Get out. How, he wasn't sure. But he had to try. Slithering in the mud and filth, he got to the small hole, claws digging in again. Ripping, tearing, pulling. It wasn't big enough, and it wouldn't be for a long while. But he might be able to do it.
