Noun
(plural: yandere)

(chiefly Japanese fiction) A fictional character who fits the archetype of being genuinely romantic, loving, kind, merciful, sparing, sweet and gentle, but is at the same time brutal, psychotic or deranged in behavior. The psychotic tendency can be both sudden and ever-present. Often used for both comedic and dramatic displays of character.

~Set in the modern 21st century.~

She was the new girl. You may have been best friends, or maybe you had a bit of a crush on her; either way, when you woke up in a strange basement with several others beside you, you knew it had to do with her.

Call it a hunch, or maybe a sixth sense if you will. Or, maybe it was the fact that she was standing in the stairs with an almost demonic smile.

"Hey!" She giggled, twirling her hair around her finger as she looked upon her prisoners. "So, you're probably wondering why you're down here, right?" She giggled again, a maniacal look crossing her eyes. "Well, you are all mine! I can't only have one senpai- you're all so cute!" She jumped up and down briefly. "So, I kidnapped you!" She opened the door, revealing a long hallway. "The best part is, this place is pretty much a maze!" She chirped. "You can't escape, you'll be stuck down here with me." She sighed dreamily. "Isn't it romantic?"

Her gaze hardened. "But, I can't let you stay down here without a few rules." Her tone became a little menacing, sending chills down everyone's spine. "They're pretty simple. You should be able to follow them easily." She crossed her legs as she sat on the steps, maniacal gaze sweeping the room. "None of you can be "Romantically involved" with each other." She hissed. "You all belong to me, you're MINE." She tensed up, a vein popping out in her forehead. "I don't want to hurt you, but I will if I catch you kissing, holding hands, hugging, etc." She leaned forward, picking up a knife. "This area is the Punishment Room. You all have your own rooms though." She sat up, cheery smile returning.

"There's a bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom, a massive closet, and a small living room!" She chirped. "I made them look just like you like!" She giggled. "So! I'm going to go to my room now- you'll never find it- and you guys can do whatever until tonight!" Her smile widened.

KiKi finished her speech with a giggle, and pranced out of the room.

Luke growled softly, standing up and scowling.

Josh just stared at the spot she was just sitting. "W-what just happened...?" he mumbled, dumbfounded.

Luke walked over to Josh. "No idea." He muttered, helping him up.

"Thanks. I'm Joshua, by the way. Known as Josh." he smiled, holding his hand out in greeting then pulled it back quickly, remembering the girl.

"I'm Lucas." Luke replied, glancing over his shoulder. "Just call me Luke." He crossed his arms over his chest, shirt tight against his muscles as he stared after Kiki with a sneer.

Jesse glared at Kiki and looked at Josh and Luke. He got up and brushed himself off, "So what do you do now?" He asked.

Josh shrugged. "I don't know. First time kidnapped. Oh. Oh god. Oh no..." Josh slink to the floor and held his knees to his chest, nearly crying but trying not to.

Luke stared into the hallway, eyes narrowing. "I thought she was different than those air-headed romantics." He scoffed. "But she's way worse." He looked at the ceiling with a growl.

William didn't move. He didn't really care about where he was. As long as he had a place to sleep and food to eat.

Personality: Max is a nice and caring guy. He wouldn't dare even think about hurting someone. He isn't scared easily and enjoys studying when he isn't hanging out with friends. He does however have depression which many don't know about because he tries to hide it.

William looked around. There had to be a way of escaping. Move to a different city, no country. If he thought hard enough, maybe he could do it, and take a friend with him.

Thoughts ran through Josh's head and he couldn't get them straight and it was too much for him so he started crying.

Max stared after where the girl had gone. He glanced at everyone else, pausing on Josh and Luke. He shrugged his hands into his pants pockets, looking around again.
