A ghost for a lost one (P)
The rain pelted the dark and muddy ground, as the thunder and lightning collided like two cars. A dark shadowy figure lured thru the forest running at top speed, rushing past trees and bushes, without even taking a breath. Its mouth remained closed while it ran, its glowing yellow eyes scanning the forest floor. Its paws not getting dirty, and its feet not hitting the floor, only the rustling of trees as it looked for a specific cat.
@FredTheFrog (I tried my best, when you reply, the rustling of the trees is not only the rain, but Carnivore as well) |

Re: A ghost for a lost one (P)
The tom cat stopped and scanned around picking up the presence of another living creature, he slowly walked towards a tree noticing a hazel tom cat sitting. Slowly he slitted his eyes and smirked, "Found you......", walking towards the hazel tom, he rustled the wind and vanished into a tree, looking like a dark shadow as he flew by.

The cat stood up, its dark shape leaning a little forward before jumping down and trotting to them, "I am just here to help, I am your....let's say guardian," he said smirking. His tail twirled as he stood tall staring the cat down with his yellow glowing eyes.

Cody looked up at him. "How do i know that?" |
Re: A ghost for a lost one (P)
"You shouldn't know, I just came down to get you to the ......right path," said the cat showing his sharp, white, teeth. "I'm just a 'kind soul' that wants to help you on your journey afar, and maybe get rid of that horrible past of yours," he said smirking releasing his claws, and placing them near Codys head.

Cody watched, slightly annoyed when the cat raised his claws to the small tom's head. "How much do you know about me?" He asked suspiciously. |
Re: A ghost for a lost one (P)
"I know a whole bunch, form when you were a kit till now," he said smirking. "Remember I am a ghost or a spirit......that sees everything," he said, eyes slitted.

Cody tilted his head. "If you've been watching me... why are you only appearing now?" He asked, brow furrowed. |
Re: A ghost for a lost one (P)
"Well, I think it's time for you to change! I'm just here to help you into a new area and fresher place," he said grimly.

Re: A ghost for a lost one (P)
He smiled grimly. "Good," smirking, he gently layed his paw back to the ground. "I'll meet you in your dreams from time to time, but ill also train you.... you'll practice every day until Sundown," said the shadowy figure standing. As he slowly went away, "Also my names Carnivore......Carnivore'Claw."

Cody nodded. "When do we begin?" |
Re: A ghost for a lost one (P)
"We start at morning," said Carnivore his ghostly figure floats away, as he flew off into nothing the trees and bushes swayed gently in the wind.

Cody watched silently. He couldn't wait! |
Re: A ghost for a lost one (P)
It has been a few days since Carnivore took in Cody. As the tom slowly walked thru the dense and humid forest, he waited near the area they meet last time. "I guess it is time," he waited to see if Cody would come back to the same spot, if not he would have to visit his dreams and tell him about his designated spot on where to meet every single day for training.

Cody arrived shortly after Carnivore. He sat down in front of the larger tom, and dipped his head. |
Re: A ghost for a lost one (P)
He looked down at the young tom, not nodding his head. His eyes pierced with curiosity on how good this cat will be to train. "Show me your skills, prove to me your worthy to train and wont mess me up," said Carnivore staring cody in the eyes with a serious glare.

Cody looked up at Carnivore. "What do I show you?" He asked, flicking an ear. |
Re: A ghost for a lost one (P)
"Anything that you think would be worthy to show me, from how well you hunt, to how well you can kill a cat," he said flicking his tail and slitting his eyes.

"How would I show you how i kill cats?" Cody questioned, not standing up quite yet. |
Re: A ghost for a lost one (P)
"Just in case.... something happens, for example a cat attack you out of nowhere and they don't want to give you mercy. Remember it's a cat eats cat world out there, whenever there is isn't enough food, there will always be another way to eat," snickering he leapt off the rock landing on his paws without a thump.

Cody stood up. "I'll hunt." He disappeared into the trees, and after about an hour the small hazel tom came back with three mice, a finch, and two squirrels. |
Re: A ghost for a lost one (P)
Very surprised by the tom's confidence about hunting, he sat still glancing at his prey he caught. "Great job, I am quite surprised by your confidence on catching prey. You have proven well that you can hunt, but I want to see you fight......," he glanced at the tom, his fur rippling as he walked towards the cat. "You will fight me; I may be a spirit, but I can still physically attack you," he said keeping his claws sheathed. "I'll keep my claws away for now, I just want to see how your strategies and skills to attack me work.....after that your true training will start."

Cody nodded determinedly. He looked Carnivore over. The older tom was much bigger and probably stronger than him, so Cody would have to use his wits to defend himself. The hazel tabby lashed his tail and lowered into a defensive stance. He was preparing for the first blow. Personally, Cody prefered defense over offense in most situations. |
Re: A ghost for a lost one (P)
Carnivore watched with slitted eyes, watching Cody get into a defensive stance, he circled the hazel tom. Claws still sheathed, he lowly growled at the steady tom. "Come on hit me," he said grinning.

Re: A ghost for a lost one (P)
Carnivore shook out his pelt, he saw the determination in the cats' eyes. Walking slowly, he flicked his tail, watching the tom's eyes closely.

(ok, just gonna update you on something~ Cody has voices in his head, a lot of family trauma, and his tail's been torn off his body.) Now's your time to strike! The voice hissed in his head. No. I need to wait. Just do it! Cody pinned his ears, and with a whimper, he launched himself at Carnivore with his claws unsheathed. |
Re: A ghost for a lost one (P)
( How does he cope with it?)
Carnivore watched as Cody launched himself at him. The tom shifted his body to where he slides past Codys attack, though Cody's claws grazed Carnivore's leg causing a hiss from the tom. "Your pretty fast for a cat like you, even managed to graze my leg," hissed Carnivore. As he slid, leaves flew around him before he launched himself in the air claws unsheathed aiming towards his back half. @FredTheFrog |

(not very well) As Carnivore spoke, Cody maneuvered his paws so that he stood behind the bigger tom. The small hazel tabby used the leaves to his advantage, and hid in the chaos. Carnivore didn't hit him. |
Re: A ghost for a lost one (P)
The tom smirked at the advances the apprentice noticed. "Pretty good.....for a petty warrior," smirked Carnivore, as Cody hide in the leaves, he swirled around and launched himself at the leaves that puffed up aiming at the cat who was hidden in the leaves. "You don't underestimate a cat who knows most fighting skills," as he launched himself, he kicked a rock with his for[aw to distract him. Unsheathing his claws he aimed for Cody's side while the rock flew.

For half a second, Cody's head directed towards the rock, but he caught the obvious trick. He watched Carnivore lung at him, and the small tom leapt up an over him. |
Re: A ghost for a lost one (P)
The tom growled under his breath. Anger seeped thru his body as his fur rippled like spines of a porcupine. As Cody danced away from the distraction, he lunged himself at him. Claws unsheathed and teeth barred out ready to strike the tom. "Seems you want be a wise guy huh!? Well too bad you don't underestimate a powerful tom like me," Carnivore growled in fury as he lunged himself at the tom aiming for his face. As he was getting closer he made sure a bunch of leaves picked, but thanks to the wind picking up it helped blocking Cody's view of the toms attack.

Cody knew what was happening before Carnivore attacked. He slipped underneath the large tom, bringing his claws along his stomach. |
Re: A ghost for a lost one (P)
Carnivore with a sharp eye, noticed Cody slide under him, as he slid under him Carnivore bucked his hind legs and kicked Cody away from him. Carnivore jumps in the air and lands on his paws. Sitting down he waited for Cody to land another attack.

Re: A ghost for a lost one (P)
Carnivore lashed his tail as he slowly stood up. "You done yet? I don't care on ending this session," he said sitting back down and curling his tail around his paws. "I don't care on ending, I am already.... gone," he said stopping at the word 'dead'. @FredTheFrog
