Welcome, one and all, to Ivysnake's mega-finder!

GENERAL INFO

Ivysnake is ShadowClan's medicine cat apprentice, formerly a warrior, who is known for being blunt, serious, loyal, highly devoted to her Clan and Dawnstar, bloodthirsty, vicious, and not one to tolerate slackers or fools.

She needs the following:

ShadowClan warriors who will be willing to spar with her - TEMPORARILY CLOSED. Ivysnake may have been switched to a medicine cat, but she is still a warrior at heart, and Dawnstar allows medicine cats to perform warrior duties. She does not want her skills to go rusty, so she will seek out some Clanmates to train/spar with as well as learn from. After all, when ShadowClan gets out of its peaceful phase, she wants to be a formidable opponent and take as many lives as possible.



Future mates. Ivysnake doesn't really get infatuated/overly in love with other cats, but she's willing to take mates, and, in the future, she wants to have kits to boost ShadowClan's army. Her mates must be cats who she believes to be strong, worthy, and loyal, and I want this to develop, not just have a character spawn in as a mate. Since she doesn't have a ton of romantic emotions, Ivysnake will just go up to a cat she's spent some time with/deems worthy enough and go, "Hey, wanna be mates and (if they're AMAB) possibly have kits?"

Ivysnake is polyamorous, and her mates must be fine with this. She's also fine if her mates take other mates. She's open to those of all gender identities. Her mates also must be fine with not really getting romantically involved; they're together not out of love/romance, but because they deem the other worthy of mateship/have a close-enough bond of "oh, you're pretty decent and check all the boxes of a good cat." I DON'T want any abusive relationships or anything like that. Ivysnake would probably skin anyone who tried to treat her like that... literally.

Whoever she ends up having kits with, it will be some time before a finder or anything goes out for said kits. There's something brewing along the ShadowClan-ThunderClan border, and, caught up in her medicine cat training, Ivysnake doesn't have the time for kits yet. Also, if multiple applicants request having kits with her, there's a chance anyone beyond the first applicant might not end up having kits with her. I'll keep them lined up, though, in case there is time allotted for her to have other litters. It's also important to note that Dawnstar is fine with medicine cats taking mates/having kits, so applicants needn't worry about that.

Mates must live in ShadowClan. Ivysnake would never even consider pursuing a cross-Clan relationship.

Dark Forest interactions. I already have a couple lined up, but, for future meetings or interactions, or if Ivysnake needs a Dark Forest cat for anything, it would be useful to have some others. These interactions most likely will not happen immediately, so if you apply, you should be willing to have your character called upon later on.

Just so you know, Ivysnake prefers StarClan over the Dark Forest and thinks others should feel the same. She also doesn't care much for many of the rules in the warrior code, such as the one about no killing.

What Does Ivysnake Get Out of Their Visit?: Pretty self-explanatory. What will they share with her? Fighting techniques? Knowledge? Remember that Dark Forest OCs can't have inter-Clan knowledge about the other Clans unless they're roleplayed learning about it, and Ivysnake can't get any top-secret knowledge unless the other High Ranks approve it, so other knowledge (such as fighting or specialized techniques) will fare better. They could also simply have a chat.
Do They Have Any Relation to Ivysnake?: Did they know her while they were alive? Have they seen her before?

Appearance: massive, thick-furred silver-snow rosette tabby with dull blue eyes. most of his scars are hidden underneath his pelt
Personality: very quiet, doesn't tend to say much other than what they think is necessary as they prefer to listen. loyal to shadowclan as a whole, not just dawnstar specifically (honestly neither likes nor dislikes dawnstar), but also puts their siblings above their clan and genuinely would do whatever mirehound asks of them without question. only respects those who can show fighting prowess, as they believe that with shadowclan's current state that is the only way to prove oneself. no lights on at home, needs things dumbed down to be able to understand them.
Skill Level/Fighting Ability: a brutal fighter with no regard for their own safety. powerful and very skilled but reckless; often comes out of a battle all torn up

Reason: Her personality wouldn't go well with Ivysnake. Even though she has walls up, if Ivysnake was able to see past those walls, she'd probably deem Featherstone as weak and certainly not mate-worthy. They could spar if you want, though!

I'll keep Snitch in mind, but I'll wait for other applications before choosing!

Flamecall sounds interesting! Cheerful and mischievous are two traits Ivysnake wouldn't care much for, but if their mischievous trait has lessened over time, and if their "cheerful" trait is mainly directed toward their Clanmates and not toward those outside of ShadowClan, she might tolerate it. More would have to be determined via RP to see how they bond and if Flamecall's traits clash with Ivysnake's ideals, but for now, I'll put them down as a potential mate. Whether or not they stay together, they'll probably have kits, but I'm not sure where Flamecall would be in the "have kits with" lineup - I'll determine that as I go through the other mate applications. But, accepted!

Ivysnake will have to go through Starrycrash's and Featherstone's sparring RPs, but once those are done/almost done, we can have Ivysnake and Flamecall spar together!

@Pluto!

Because of the walls Featherstone has up, Ivysnake might consider her as a mate, but once she sees the overly caring and self-anxious side, she'll reconsider. They might not be "friends," exactly, but Ivysnake won't view Featherstone negatively unless she has a good reason to. When would you like to start the sparring RP? Starrycrash's comes first, but we could RP them around the same time, with Featherstone's taking place after Starrycrash's chronologically.

Reason: Ivysnake wouldn't think very highly of him after witnessing the outburst he had over Cinderblaze's death, and Darkfall's StarClan-loving, obsessive-warrior-code-following personality wouldn't sit well with her. They just wouldn't work.

I don't know if Ivysnake would seek him out to spar, either, unless he proves his fighting ability, so I'll hold off on that, too.

Appearance: Pretty fluffy cinnamon tabby with lighter patches underbelly and paws. Amber eyes.
Personality: Don't let her motherly appearance fool you. Fallenflower is courteous to most kits, elders and queens, but in battle her eyes shine with a fierce light that you would not want to be on the wrong end of. She is snappy towards others and truly believes in "survival of the fittest." She shows mercy to kits because they are the future army, queens because they care for kits, and elders because they have survived to that age, but otherwise, no mercy. She believes that "weak" warriors are detrimental to the Clan, and is in favour of exiling those she seems as "weak."
Sparring Partner?: Yes
Skill Level/Fighting Ability: Fairly skilled, trains almost everyday with others and has a quick, evasive style, relying on using the other cat's weight placement to their disadvantage.
Views on Loyalty, ShadowClan/Dawnstar, Other Clans, StarClan/the Dark Forest, and the Warrior Code: Loyalty to your Clan is always most important. Clanless cats should not even be considered to be cats. She sees everything as very black and white. She is mistrustful of other Clans and doesn't like to interact with individuals from those other Clans. Fallenflower follows Dawnstar religiously. What she says is law, and she will do anything for her, even kill. She is indifferent to StarClan and the Dark Forest, believing cats in both parties are weak, otherwise they wouldn't be there in the first place. ((Someone needs to explain to her that's not how that works))

Reason: Ivysnake would NEVER take a mate from another Clan. She wouldn’t even consider it. She’s opposed to having close connections with cats from other Clans because she believes ShadowClan is the best and that they shouldn’t be weakened/swayed because they like someone from another Clan. I love Beastflame’s personality, and they’d be great for each other if he were in ShadowClan, but since he’s not, there would be no chance of them becoming mates.

Appearance: a large pearl gray almost black with darker bengal spots, deep orange eyes ( the glint comes off as a deep red ). Squared shoulders and a long bushy tail. A twisted scar hangs over where his heart would be.

Personality: he may flirt occasionally but he’s loyal when it comes to partners and his clan. Aster is a Ride or die kind of cat who thinks things through acts rashly on occasion during difficult situations. Rather kind and noteworthy and keeps track of things even the smallest detail he jots down. Has a few fierce,protective and somewhat scary moments but always calms down. A family man through and through.

Nahhh that place tainted his sibling and led them a gruesome death, the great almighty starclan? Yes! He has always put forth a strong faith to starclan and refuses to be swayed no matter what. Dawnstar? The coolest cat in his eyes ( aside from snake ofc ) the other clans? Riverclan could suck it up and stop welcoming so many kittypets and rogues, windclan is ok in his opinion. Lastly thunderclan, they could use some work but all is well.

I'll have to think about Astersnap. He certainly sounds like a cool character! However, while some of his traits work really well with Ivysnake, there are others that don't. I'm also drowning in sparring RP requests at the moment, so they won't meet via sparring; however, we can have them meet casually, and we can see where they go! Are you okay with waiting for a bit before they RP? I have a lot going on, and there's some other stuff with Ivysnake I'd like to finish first. :heartbounce:

I'll keep Snitch in mind in case I want Ivysnake to go on another pelt mission! I didn't initially accept Snitch because I didn't want her to get too many injuries from her, but if they meet in the future, Ivysnake will be much stronger - and she'd like to test out her fighting skills.
