They sat at the edge of their balcony, looking down at their destroyed daycare. They sighed, sounding like two people talking in unison, because they were. They Got up and jumped into the ball pit, the balls now charred and burned. They heaved themselves out of the ball pit. They immediately got to work trying to stack melted barrels, which were now deformed and impossible to stack. “Clean up, clean up!” they whined, frustrated at their failed attempts at stacking them.

“It must all be clean for when the kids come back!” they added to themselves. But would the kids want to see us like this? sounded a voice in their head. “Of course the kids would want to see us! They love us!” they laughed, using one hand to pull on their rays and another to pull on their hat. “But did the kids even like us in the first place?” they asked themselves. No, the kids adored them! they convinced themself, resuming trying to stack the barrels

Cassie enters the daycare through a hole in the wall. It was also destroyed. Slowly making her way through the mess, she finds where the slide used to be. Jumping inside and beginning to explore, she could hear the Daycare Attendant somewhere... She shines her flashlight everywhere.

They heard movement. A kid? No, kids never came here. And, they hadn’t even come close to making the daycare neat and tidy! but they definitely heard something… after arguing between themselves, they finally decided to look up from what they were doing. They saw light dappling the daycare. They immediately covered their eyes, it was so bright, not like the darkness of the daycare. They walked toward the source, now finding a… a child! Yes! They’d been waiting for so long… they’ve been so lonely they crept up on her, one part of their head wary of her, the other screaming at them to approach her. Eventually, they gave in to it and inhaled.
“BOO!” they yelled. Popping up right in front of her, directly in front of the flashlight so she got a front-row-seat to their new, horrifying appearance. “Welcome to the daycare! What do you want to do first? Hide and go kill, Marco malice, tag I’m it?” they suggested. All of these games seemed to be violent, the perfect games for the new Sun and Moon!

Cassie heard something... "AHHH!!" She screamed when the Daycare Attendant landed in front of her, within the flashlight beams. They were talking about violent games. Cassie wasted no time in attempting to run away from them.

They screamed in surprise in unison with Cassie. “Heyyy, where are you going?” they asked, almost whined as they speed walked after her, their arms outstretched upwards. They were so ever bored, and they finally had somebody to talk to. “Please don’t go yet, please?” asked the ruined daycare attendants- now attendant.

“Pleaaaasssseeeee, it’s been so long since I’ve talked to someone! I promise I won’t do anything, we can play what you want to!” they pleaded, still walking after her. It was actually quite easy to do so, as their long legs made it easier for them to move quickly, and Cassie was… a kid. She was short compared to the daycare attendant. Former daycare attendant? No. They were still the daycare attendant and children were their responsibility. They ran in front of her and made an attempt to grab Cassie. She needed to be taken care of, looked after, and put to sleep.

Cassie ran but soon hit a dead end. The Daycare Attendant landed in front of her and attempted to grab her. She had heard it speak while it chased her.

Cassie yelled out in terror when the arms of the Animatronic reached for her. She kicked the bot to make it let go of her, and ran into one of the remains of the play structures to try and hide.

They grunted in pain and dropped her. “Ouch!” whined the attendant, rubbing where she kicked them on the face. “Come on, kid! I know this place better than anyone.” they called, tone flat with renouncement. Why even bother? This kid would just keep on running. “What do you want me to do? Let you go out into the Pizzaplex to get mauled by the others?” they called, concern masking their passive-aggression.
They really didn’t want this child to leave. This was the safest place at the Pizzaplex they knew of. Before they were fused, Moon would go on security patrol and check out everything to make sure it was safe. Now that they were fused, they shared memories and knowledge. And- well they always had, but now Moon controlled the left side and Sun the right

Cassie got to the highest point in the play structure, where the ceiling part and most of the walls were destroyed. She looked down at the animatronic. "You say that." She spoke, flipping the lever of a generator and sending light pooling into an area of the daycare, lightning it up.

What did she mean by that? They yelped as light flooded into the spot they were in. “What does that mean?” they called, perplexed at this child’s fear, or anger. Sun and Moon don’t know what they look like now, but they hoped they didn’t look too frightening.
“Why did you even come here?” they asked, watching her make her way to more generators. Maybe she wasn’t aware that they were fused, and they didn’t go from Sun to Moon anymore. Their left hand, the one Moon was controlling, balled up into a fist. Moon, chill they thought. Even if they were fused, Sun’s personality made them a bit more in control then moon. As long as they didn’t get angry then they’d be fine. Hopefully this child wasn’t too much of an agitation or nuisance to them

Cassie put on the Vanny mask to see through the V.A.N.N.I network to exit the play structure as Eclipse spoke. "If you are good, prove it!" She called, sliding down onto the floor, taking the mask off and pressing herself against a wall, watching the Daycare Attendant.

Well… they’ve just been put in an awkward situation.. “Okay.” they replied. Immediately, they went around the aftermaths of the daycare and turned on every generator that they knew worked. About 2-3 of the lights on the ceiling were broken burned to a crisp “Now what do I do?” they asked, just before getting an idea. They attached a weak wire onto their back and go up onto the balcony.
They took the wire off and go into the remains of their room. They return with a very, VERY, VERY VERYYY old and burned piece of pizza. They jumped off of their burnt balcony and walked over to her. They stopped at a comfortable length apart and held out the stiff, charred food to her. “Here, are you hungry?” they asked

Cassie watched the Daycare Attendant carefully. The bright lights made her need to look away. The only lights that could work were the two large yellow lights that were most likely attached after the fall of the Pizzaplex. She looked back up and completely lost track of the Daycare Attendant.

Freaking out slightly, she gasped when he suddenly came back to her with an extremely old piece of pizza, asking if she was hungry. If I was hungry, I'm not now. And if I had food in my stomach, I think I would have thrown it up. She thought to herself, shaking her head. "Do you realize how old that is? That could make me sick."

“Oh.. I’m sorry. I don’t know a ton about how humans work anymore.” they said, turning over to the ball pit and chucking it in. They turned back to her. “Hi, I’m Eclipse, what’s your name?” they asked, extending their right hand for a handshake. They didn’t dare use their left, fearing that moon might try and choke her or something. They didn’t enjoy the name Eclipse, but you couldn’t just them ‘Sun and Moon’ for a name

Cassie watched Eclipse with wery eyes. I don't fully trust him anymore... She furrowed her eyebrows as he introduced himself as Eclipse and asked what Cassie's name was, holding his yellow hand out for a handshake.

She slowly took his hand in her own for the shake. "Cassie..." She said, not taking her eyes off of the Animatronic.

They let go and looked around. “So… Cassie. Since you don’t seem to want to play the games I want to play, what about you decide what we play?” they asked. They could tell that Moon was thoroughly agitated at Cassie, for his side’s hand was twitching. He guessed that he wanted to attack her ever so badly. Moon, no they told themselves, knowing very well that Moon could hear him.
They locked eyes with Cassie. She seemed to be fearful or something, they didn’t understand human emotions quite well anymore. Eclipse couldn’t give anything away, as his face was simply a plastered on smile, like it was made to mock the fact that he was an animatronic by not giving him ability to have facial expressions

Cassie stared at Eclipse, seeing the twitching blue hand and arm. Hm... Does he hate me or like me? She thought. "I was looking for someone... I don't know what to play in this horrible pit." She says, looking around at the remains of the daycare.

Eclipse felt hurt at this statement. “Horrible pit?” they asked, upset coating their voice. Moon! The kids don’t like us anymore! They don’t want to play with us! M-maybe they’ll even replace us with a new playmate?! a voice sounded in Eclipse’s head, then another, Moon, piped up. It’s okay, Sun, they love us. It’ll be okay. We’ve been through worse. While the two voices, Sun and Moon, argued, the right side, controlled by Sun, was gripping their now small rays in a panic, while the left side, controlled by Moon, was hugging themselves calmly in an attempt at calming them down

Cassie gave a nod. "This place is completely destroyed and ruined." She said, then getting slightly confused as to why Eclipse was acting the way he was. "Um... Is something wrong?"

They immediately let go of their rays and stopped hugging themselves, embarrassed. “S-sorry, it’s just, if this is a-a,” they hesitated to say it about their beloved daycare. “A horrible pit, then it’s definitely unfit for child or beast.” they finished despairingly, shaking their head

Cassie sighed as Eclipse spoke. They are weird... "What? It looks like a dump since the Pizzaplex collapsed and caved in." She said, sitting down on a colorful barrel. Her stomach growled suddenly, her eyes going down to her belly. Oh, crap... She could wait.

“But I can’t just leave it.” they said. But could they? temptation nagged at the daycare attendant. We should go sounded Moon, … nothing came from Sun, he was obviously still thinking it through. Snapped from their thoughts at the loud growl escaping Cassidy’s stomach, they looked at her. Hmmm. Attaching the weak wire to their back once more, they went inside their room and grabbed a slightly burnt McDonald’s burger that a kid brought to them when the daycare was in its glory days. They returned with it. “Here.”

Cassie watched Eclipse with a raised eyebrow as he left her alone. She blinked, alone for a while, when Eclipse came back with a slightly burnt burger. Her stomach growled again when her amber eyes landed on the burger. "Um... How old is this burger..." She slowly took the burger and sniffed it, her mouth watering slightly. She didn't realize how hungry she was...

Eclipse shrugged. “I’ve been told of a story. That a guy left a McDonald’s hamburger in his closet for ten years and it was still good when he discovered it.” they explained to her, extending out the hand that Sun controlled

Cassie sniffed the burger and looked at it carefully. It looked ok... She slowly took a small bite out of the burger...

Her amber eyes widened, and Cassie spat it out, gasping, the taste was stale and disgusting. "That is disgusting! I should have known! I need water or some kind of liquid!" She kept spitting on the ground, the burger's taste lingering in her mouth.

Oh no.. they turned and chucked it into the ball pit as they had done with the crusty pizza. “I’m so sorry, little one!” they exclaimed, panicking. Liquid? Hmm.. Moon, you can have domination over the body for a bit as Sun thought this, Moon was suddenly able to move freely. Yes. they looked over to Cassidy who seemed to be practically choking on the food. They immediately left the daycare, returning with a paper cup full of water they’d collected from the rain. “Here, it’s fresh.” they said calmly, sliding it near Cassie so she wasn’t wary

Cassie coughed hard as the Daycare Attendant didn't seem to know what to do. She felt tears in her eyes, her flashlight lying on her ground near her, frantically trying to get the taste out of her mouth.

She glanced up and saw that Eclipse was gone. Did he ditch me? She thought, panting like a dog, unable to get the taste off her mouth when Eclipse came back with a cup, saying it was fresh, sliding it near her.

Cassie took the cup and drank its contents without a second thought. It was water, most likely from the rain outside. "Oh my..." She took a moment to breathe before looking up. "Thank you... For the water, not the burger." She quickly added the last bit.

They nodded. “It’s still my job.” they replied, turning and walking over to the ruins of the entrance to the daycare. “Tell me this…how is it out there?” Eclipse asked, shifting their gaze over to Cassie, waiting for a reply to their question. They kept on telling themselves they were happy here but… look at this, their daycare was in ruins. And they weren’t even Sun and Moon anymore, apparently, NOPE! They were Eclipse.

They sighed longingly and returned back into the depths of their ruined daycare. They attached the wire onto their back again, going on top of one of the play structure. They detached the wire from their back and sat on top of the structure.
They really wanted to leave, but their programming forbade it.

“Wait just a mi-“ they were immediately cut off as a sharp jolt of nausea hit them. Ugh… they slouched down, their eyes now completely blue with the small, white print, ‘rebooting’. They were half conscious. Confused, a shiny new Moon wandered around in their head as well as Sun. Wow

The animatronic’s eyes went back to normal, the nausea still faintly remained. “Sorry… I just got nauseous, I was given that system to better understand kids.” they said, putting a hand onto their head, dizzy. They got up, swaying on their feet before balancing themselves. The extended a hand to Cassie, using the other to attach the wire onto their back. “It’s not safe for you to go down by climbing.”

Cassie stared at Eclipse as he regained himself. She hesitated as he drew his hand out to her, attaching his wife to the back of her sweatshirt. "Um... Is this even safe? And won't the wire slip off my back at that angle?"

“I can catch you, it’s quite literally what I do. Also, it’s safer than falling off of this thing.” they said, without warning, they jumped off, landing softly because of the wire, He gripped Cassie’s hand tightly and let go once they were on ground. Ugh.. going up into the air and back down onto the floor didn’t help their nausea

Cassie gulped nervously. "Ok..." She took his hand in her own, gasping when they suddenly jumped off and floated down to the dirty colorful ground. Yikes! That scared me! She looked up at Eclipse as they landed, and he let go of her hand. She quickly reached for the wire on her sweatshirt, but it was too far for her to reach.

They noticed this, a hand on their head. They reached out with their right hand to unhook the dangling Cassie. They shut their eyes, trying to cure themselves of the dizziness that swept over them, visibly nauseous

Cassie didn't realize that she wasn't touching the floor correctly until Eclipse unhooked her and she dropped slightly. She gasped, falling over. She quickly stood up and saw Eclipse. "Are... You ok?" She asked.
