He felt as though something had to be done. Maybe it was moral, which would be low considering half of their Clanmates were sick. Maybe it was the fact that hey...they're doing great. But sadly. RiverClan was back and man that sure did put a damper on his mood, personally.

With a heaved sigh, he rolled through...what his plan was. Somethin about kits and apprentices going from...warrior to warrior? What was it. Trick or treat? His brain hurt. But it was a plan.

Call it old age. He's getting soft.

"LISTEN UP!" he bellowed. It was currently close to dusk. Just a faint orange in the sky as it faded to a rich purple. The beginnings of what should be a peaceful nights rest. Not tonight.

"Tonight. It's a night of tricks...or treats dependin on how you go about it. I need all the Kits and Apprentices in their own seprate groups. I'll tell you lot the rest of the game here once I get you all quiet an listenin." he instructed. Waiting for the kits to be...as reasonable as they could be, and the Apprentices to sit where they believe they should go. Once he sees how many there are, than he'll divvy them up into groups. Wrangling young kittens...should definitely be easy.

Nightkit excitedly raced over to see what was going on! She was basically a huge ball of pure energy at this point, her roleplayer made the mistake of giving her a KitKat and now she can't sit still. So Nightkit kept spinning in place instead.

Tricks and treats? Well Fleakit could survive without treats that was certain, but tricks? Wasn't that just called being annoying with different words? He loved being annoying! Time to do it! The kit, almost apprentice, snuck around to walk behind his father before trying to bite the fluffy tail. Not with any actual force that would be mean, not annoying and not the goal. Whether it worked or not, Fleakit would shoot a sly grin.

Ugh. Being stuck in the nursery absolutely sucked!!! But someone had to take care of her little siblings, make sure they didn’t get into trouble (though, Hornet knew she was far more likely to encourage trouble). Back and forth, back and forth… She was batting a moss ball between her two paws. Bet the apprentices were having way more fun than this! Instead of moss balls, they’d have real prey! None of this silly plant stuff - she stuck out her tongue, the thoufht of plants bringing up the medicine cats. Med training must be even worse!! Plants, plants, plants! Who would ever want that? Soon, a call pulled her iut of her thoughts - Dad?!?

She bounded to the nursery entrance, head peeking out. Time to get quiet and listening, she supposed, but that wasn’t really her style. ”Dad!!!!” She yelled, bounding excitedly up to the group, “tricks? Treats??” She tilted her head, staring up at him.

Buzzkit is given a start when Spiderthroat calls out. Trick or treat? He doesn’t know what that is - at the very least, this is a game he hasn’t heard of before. The short kit eyes the deputy with slight awe, though. To even be called upon by him, as a kit… it would feel like an honor if Buzzkit didn’t know it was just for a game. Still, pretty cool.

Looking around, Buzzkit inches closer to the deputy. He’d better learn as much as he can from the big cats, like Spiderthroat, since he’ll be an apprentice soon- oooor Buzzkit can just play around like normal instead, either or.

Although she was still upset with what Bumblestar had decreed, Spiderling was most of all happy to see her father today. Even when she went looking for him in the warrior's den, she'd seen so little of the man! A happy grin spread across he cheeks as she bunded up along her siblings, throwing a paw around Hornetkit's shoulders with a happy squeal.
"I wan' participate!"

Softdaisy wouldn't lie. It was quite the shock to hear the deputy's voice ring out over the clearing. Not because he was hosting an event, but because it was for... apprentices and kits. Gold eyes open, head lifting from her nest. Softdaisy tells herself that it's because she can see a few of her kits out there that she gets up and heads out herself. That's definitely why she thinks to offer her assistance. Not because some part of her is both skeptical and curious for the reason behind Spiderthroat's sudden decision to host an event. She was only here to see how he treated kits. . . right.

Settling near where everyone was gathering, the stocky she-cat turned her attention to her kits that were in attendance. Fleakit, Fireflypaw, Hornetkit, Butterflypaw, and Spiderlingkit. All of them seemed to be fixated on their father, so Softdaisy didn't interfere, just kept an eye on them.
