Your eyes open slowly. The crashing sound of the waves filled your ears. Stretching your long neck to your back, you noticed the bindings on your wings. Ah yes, now your remember. Queen Pyro had bound your wings as you were taken prisoner. You had just escaped when you fell down a cliff. You look up. There it was. It was high up and worn by the rising tide. You sigh as you try to remember your name. It was.. ____ wasn't it? Probably. You are a ____, and you are ____ years old. You resided in the ____ kingdom, and now you are in the SeaWing kingdom. Er well, on the outskirts.

Your gaze traveled to the glittering sea. It crashed onto the sand before you and washed up a few crabs. Just then, a ripple came from the water below. You tense. Your heart pounds. Fear enters your mind. A mass of glittering, blue-green scales emerged from the ocean. Dark yellow eyes stare straight through you, reading your every move. The Seawing stepped onto the sand. You take a step back. The Seawing takes a step forward, and you go back. Forward. Back. Forward. Back. Eventually the Seawing halted. You stop as well. A light chuckle escapes from his jaws, and slowly built into a laugh. "That was fun," he giggled. You tilt your head. "What-?" "My name is ____, what's yours?" Baffled, you sputter for words. "My name is Callisto. Charmed," you reply. The Seawing turns away and begins humming a song. He continues to walk and walk and walk, until you call out to him. "Where are you going?" "To the Rainwings," he replied simply. "Why?" He shrugs. "Why not? Did you need something?" You glance at your wing-bindings. The bindings kept your glittering wings from spreading and flapping, unfortunately. Your mother always told you that you had the prettiest wings in all of the Nightwing Kingdom, and you believed it. Your wings were shinier than most of the other Nightwings, and you always wondered why. Oh well, it didnmt matter now. She just wanted to be free. "Can you free my wings? I was captured by Queen Pyro," you finally reply. "Wow! A fugitive! Sure, I'll help," he replied with a grin. "But you have to travel with me." You nod slowly. The Seawing didn't move. He parted his jaws and out came words. "I enchant these bindings to release Callisto the Nightwing," he said slowly. In awe you watch the bindings shudder and release your wings. As you stretch out your wings, you turn to the Seawing. "You're an animus!" Nightwings knew very well what an animus was. It was a dragon with powers to make anything or anyone do anything the user wants, but the larger the spell, the more the soul of the user corrupts. Nightwings have an old legend about the Darkstalker. He was an animus Nightwing who made himself invincible. He tried to become king, but first he killed his own father, an Icewing. After that, he set on his way to kill Queen Vigilance, but Clearsight stopped him. "Now I know what you're thinking," the Seawing began. "Is my soul bad? No. I barely use my power." You nod. And then, the pair set off to the rainforest.

You continue on with Cichlid. Ocean waves grow quieter as the sound of frogs enter your ears. You are on the border of the rainforest. "Spooky," Cichlid comments. You chuckle, and continue to walk. The sun is now blocked by the many trees in the hot and humid rainforest. A quiet voice fills your ears. Is that a Nightwing? Is that a Seawing? I've never met a Nightwing or Seawing before! Oh boy, oh boy! The Seawing is quite handsome too.. I wonder what his name is. Blinking, you glance over at Cichlid. He doesn't seem fazed by whoever was speaking. What was going on? Why didn't he hear it? A shadow looms over you, and a large Rainwing materializes out of thin air. Instead of it looking female like you expected, it was male. A large, battle scarred male. A sharp pain hit your neck. You mumble an "ow" and the world turns dark around you.

You wake up in an unfamiliar location. Leaves surround you, and filter sunlight down into some type of hut. Blinking, you sit up. "Oh, you're awake," a familiar voice chirps. You look over and spot a pretty Rainwing. Her scales were pink, with bits of yellow and purple sparked across it. Her eyes were green, like the forest around her. "Welcome to the Rainforest. The Seawing has told me about you," she giggled. A burst of dark pink flickered on her scales before fading back into the light pink she wore before. "Callisto, was it? Pleasure to meet you! My name is ____!"


"It's a pleasure to meet you too!"
"I've heard your voice somewhere before.."
"Back off! Who was that Rainwing before? Why did I feel a pain in my throat?"

"I've heard your voice somewhere before.." Orchid tips her head in confusion. "Oh? But I never spoke to you," she replies. You frown. That was true, but she had heard her in the rainforest. Orchid taps her chin thoughtfully. "You're a Nightwing.. so maybe you read my mind," she chirped. You shook your head bewildered. You never had any powers like other Nightwings. "You look a bit surprised. Why?" "I've never had any Nightwing powers," you confess. Orchid chuckles. "Late bloomer," she concludes. You suppose that could be right, there was no other explaination after all.

"So, what do you do around here?"
"Why were we brought here?"
"Are we being held captive?"
