Name: Flickerkit - Flickerpaw - Flickerfur
Flicker-: named after the Northern Flicker, a piciform bird that's primarily buff or grey-brown with noticeable black spots and stripes.
-Fur: he has no skills that stand out, he's both a decent hunter and fighter but not proficient in either.

Condition: Healthy. The end of his tail is bent and can't feel sensations, but the bend is painful if stepped on.

Appearance: Flickerfur is a tom of average build with a mussy shorthaired coat that has a minute amount of insulating undercoat to help keep him warm. He is primarily a light dusky-beige brown, but dotted with small black spots and a few stripes on his neck, face and tail. He has a very telling face with round cocoa-brown eyes, his emotions aren't easily hidden and can both be a virtue and a downfall. The tom has a break in the last two inches of his tail, where it juts off at almost a 90 degree angle, two claw marks over his right eye, and a larger scar between his shoulders.

---CHARACTER---

Personality: Growing up, Flickerfur was stubborn but had poor self confidence. He was convinced that he would never make anything of himself as his peers sprinted ahead and made themselves known, but for the longest time Flickerpaw was immovable on the subject. He went through two mentors who didn't know how to handle him until being assigned to Greynose, who slowly got Flickerpaw to focus on just moving forward. He became more accepting of the fact that a cat can't just be nothing, and closer to the end of his training decided that if he wasn't going to be someone in the spotlight, he sure as heck was going to help someone else get there. He pushed himself to become more sociable and open, though he does still have very bad bouts of self-doubt and spells of depression but knows his Clan will stick by him and they eventually subside. Flickerfur is especially proud and supportive of his apprentices, wanting to be their stepping-stone to a fulfilling Warrior life.

Strengths: Willing to sacrifice himself for others, great stamina, cool-headed most of the time, honest, hard-working.
Weaknesses: Not notably strong, self-doubting, terrified of heights, can be hard-headed, easy to read.

Favourites: Warm sun, the smell of green grass, robin and finch, seeing apprentices grow up.
Dislikes: Freezing temperatures, climbing or being too high, adults harming or bullying children, kittens when they bite his tail.

Scent: Oak and apple.
