What's your favorite super edition?
I think that mine is Mothflight's Vision.
I really related to Mothflight on a personal level. I desperately wanting to prove myself worthy to my mom as a child, which I saw happening between her and Windstar. I also have ADHD and Mothflight perfectly represents someone with it, imo. It also had a nice message - people that have mental disabilities aren't necessarily sick, they just have a different brain wiring. I think that's why StarClan gave her the duty of becoming the first medicine cat. They felt that her brain wiring was designed for it. I also really appreciated how the Clan cats started to recognize that her herb gathering was important. I also really like Crowfeather's Trial. It was satisfying reading him finally getting redemption. But I had a huge issue with Onestar, which kept me from thoroughly enjoying reading about Crowfeather, Breezepelt, Heathertail and Nightcloud. What really holds it back for me is when Onestar says that he's okay with, no SUPPORTS, the stoats destroying ThunderClan. I know he dislikes ThunderClan, but really? That was thoroughly hypocritical. So it's not okay for WindClan to be driven out by ShadowClan, and left to starve, but it is okay for WindClan to board up a cave entrance to drive stoats into ThunderClan territory? Viciously mauling queens, kits and elders? Ripping all the cats to shreds? If that's not evil motivation, then I don't know what is. Onewhisker... what in the heck happened to you? |
Re: What's your favorite super edition?
Mothflight's Vision is my favorite, too! Tall Shadow is my favorite Warriors character overall, but Moth Flight is the one that I relate to the most. I also just really like DotC books in general; I think they have much better characters and plotlines than most of the others. |

My favorite Super Edition was Yellowfang's Secret.Yellowfang's attitude and forbidden love was very tragic. And I've never hated so much as I hated Raggedstar, the selfish furball.

Mine is also Yellowfang's Secret, all the way. I loved the story so much, I can still picture the cover and feel the weight of the book in my hands. The art was wonderful, and Yellowfang seemed to be such a unique and unfortunate character. I couldn't get enough of her

Re: What's your favorite super edition?
In my opinion, Tallstar's Revenge was the most well-written. I don't care for his character, but the way it was presented was awesome. Yellowfang's Secret is good, but has a couple plot holes. My all time favorite was Mothflight Vision, though. Just... so good and relatable and emotional.

Re: What's your favorite super edition?
Tallstar's Revenge, though Yellowfang's Secret and Bluestar's Prophecy are a close second.

Re: What's your favorite super edition?
my favorites are probably moth flight's vision and crookedstar's promise |
Re: What's your favorite super edition?
My least favorite is Mothflight's vision just because it's hard for me to read books where the warrior/medicine cat code isn't in place yet {idk why it just is} but my favorite is definitely Crookedstar's Promise

Re: What's your favorite super edition?
That does make sense about Mothflight's Vision, because it is difficult to get your bearings for the time period and decipher what the code included, if there was a code at all! I personally enjoyed reading about the development of the codes and clans, but I can understand how it would be annoying or confusing to others. :)
