Littlepaw's Anguish [Revenge and Regret Plot]
Littlepaw has just had his heart broken. He had a huge fight with his friend and past crush, Wolfpaw, over the fact that Littlepaw just didn't want a relationship because his sickness would just get in the way. Even though he tried to make Wolfpaw see his reasoning, the black Chausie started yelling, and Littlepaw couldn't help but spew nasty words back. He was hoping they could at least stay as friends , but it seems even that wasn't going to happen. Now, with a shattered heart and depressed state, Littlepaw starts having these strange dreams, dreams of a shadow of a cat, with yellow, glinting eyes, in a dark, damp, endless forest. When one night he has another of these dreams, a shape takes place of the shadow. It's an actual Dark Forest cat. She claims to be a part of StarClan, and is here to help him. She says that he could get rid of those who wronged him, that she could give him power. He just needs to kill one cat. And he will be taught everything he needs to know to make right what has been wrong about his life for so long. Littlepaw believes her, and decides to kill his mother. The Dark Forest cat gives him a plan. He would lead his abusive motherto the lake, and hold the frail she-cat under the water until she dies from drowning. However, on a stormy night, he leads his sick mother to where he would execute the plan, however his plan backfires, because he hesitates and considers going back, when a tree trunk falls, crushing her. He almost got hit, as well, only to be dragged out of the way by Wolfpaw. Wolfpaw asks why he acted like an idiot and went out of camp on a stormy night. Littlepaw realises the horror of what he had been about to do, and hides it with a hiss and a swipe at Wolfpaw, feeling satisfied as he drew blood, spitting and screaming that his mother was crushed, and he should've been able to save her, too. Why didn't Wolfpaw save her, too? Wolfpaw tries to reason with Little. Littlepaw had hated his mother. She had abused him. Why was he grieving? But Littlepaw says she was still his mother, and didn't deserve to die. Then Little runs back to camp. Littlepaw and his friend Waspsting have grown quite close now. Littlepaw starts to grow feelings for the warrior. It had been a while since one of the dream visits from the StarClan cat. She was now a distant memory. Littlepaw has been spending his time trying to grow closer to Waspsting and training with his mentor, Quailpetal. One night, he's back in the endless forest. He feels stressed suddenly. He was hoping he wouldn't come back here. The cat that had talked to him before appeared out of the mist, her yellow eyes glinting maliciously. She told him that she knew that Littlepaw could never have really killed his mother. So she did it for him by making the tree fall. Littlepaw swipes his paw at the she-cat, taking her by surprise. He feels a slight jump of adrenaline when he sees the blood well on her cheek. Suddenly, the Dark Forest cat's eyes light up with delight. She praises him. He has potential, he is growing stronger. Soon, he will make right what has been wrong. He just needs to listen to what she has to say. He gives in again, saying he was willing to do anything. The Dark Forest cat smiles and says she will make him powerful. He was angry with Wolfpaw, right? Why not hurt him? But Littlepaw shakes his head no, and suggests his father instead. The Dark Forest cat's eyes glint with frustration, but she agrees. Then she sneers. Will he hesitate this time, or will he jump into the plan? He shouldn't be so pathetic this time. This makes Little jump onto her, snarling and digging his claws into her fur. He draws more blood, and suddenly he lowers his head, attempting a killing bite, the ending battle move that his mentor had said should only be used as a last resort. But he was sick of holding his anger back; why not on this cat? Suddenly, the forest starts to fade around him, and as he began to wake up, the she-cat whispers that her name is "" of the Dark Forest, and she will keep coming back for him. She will keep coming back... When Littlepaw is fully awake, his claws digging into the leaves and moss of his bed, he growls angrily and dashes outside, only to run into Waspsting, who had been out in the clearing because he couldn't sleep. The warrior sees Littlepaw's anguished, angry face, and cuddles close to him, asking what was wrong. Littlepaw takes a deep breath and asks if Waspsting would take a walk with him. He agrees, and the two toms walk through the territory. Littlepaw confesses everything that has happened so far before bursting into tears. Waspsting is surprised at first, but after a moment he wraps his tail over Littlepaw, saying everything is okay. The two travel to Seastones, and they confess their love for each other under the stars. It was when the two slipped back into camp before sunrise that Littlepaw is hailed by his mentor, Quailpetal. They tell him that it is time for his warrior ceremony. Littlepaw suddenly brightens up, excited. When Fallenstar gives Littlepaw his warrior name, Littlequiver, Littlequiver feels proud of himself. He's come so far. But, he glimpses the shadow of the Dark Forest cat in the edge of the crowd, her yellow eyes gleaming in the dark, before she disappears. Littlequiver moves into the warrior's den, and he starts his first warrior duty, hunting. He goes out by himself, and is gaining up behind a fat, juicy water vole when suddenly the Dark Forest cat appears before him, her eyes glinting angrily. She demands why he has fallen in love. She tells him that that is a big sign of weakness. This makes Littlequiver angry. When he attempts a swipe at her, she uses her flank to knock it away before pinning him down. She snarls and demands he get revenge on Wolfpaw. He failed to hurt his father. Wolfpaw was the sure choice. Only then would everything that was wrong finally be right. Littlequiver gives in again and agrees. When the Dark Forest cat decides to step away, Littlequiver gets up, and, with new determination, goes back to camp. He then just stands there. How would he get revenge on Wolfpaw? He didn't want to kill him. So what could he do? Flexing his claws, he goes to the elder's den, where his father was. He woke up the old cat, who happens to be blind, and leads him deep into the territory, to a dark place where nobody ever goes. And he jumps on the old cat, giving him the killing bite. He feels.... Free. New. Pumped with adrenaline, he buries the body, and cleans the blood from his fur at the lake. He then goes back to camp, and sees Waspsting. Going up to him, purring, and greets him with a nuzzle. Only to have Waspsting step away. Shocked, Littlequiver asks what is wrong. Waspsting says he saw Littlequiver go out of camp with his father. Why didn't he come back with him? When Littlequiver struggles to answer, Waspsting asks if he killed him. When Littlequiver says yes, Waspsting bursts into angry tears and asks why he was killing? He thought he was in love with a good, kind hearted cat, but he fell in love with a monster. Then Waspsting screams they were no longer mates and runs off, leaving a broken hearted Littlequiver standing there, and the young tom collapses, crying and wailing. Why? Why did this have to happen? Then he becomes very, very angry. It was all Wolfpaw's fault. Growling, he sees Wolfpaw in the corner of the clearing. He runs up to him, and tackles him, pinning him down. Snarling at him, he screams that this was all his fault. Suddenly, the Dark Forest cat appears beside him. She is smiling maliciously, telling him to go ahead and kill Wolfpaw. But, Littlequiver hesitates and jumps off of Wolfpaw, and charges at the Dark Forest cat, pinning her down and growling. It was never Wolfpaw's fault... It was her fault this whole time! As he suddenly realises this, he dug his claws into her fur. He yells at Wolfpaw to run, and he gives the she-cat a killing bite... Only to not be able to snap her neck. Confused, Littlequiver is suddenly thrown off by the she-cat, and he crashes into Waspsting, who had been watching. Waspsting steps in front of Littlequiver protectively, feeling loyalty to his Clanmate. When the Dark Forest cat stalks up to them, snarling, she demands Waspsting step away, it doesn't concern him. Wolfpaw suddenly runs into the she-cat, yelling at her to leave Littlequiver alone. She growls and knocks him away. Why defend a murderer? She asks, sneering. Wolfpaw tells her that he now knew that she had been manipulating Littlequiver, and that he shouldn't take the blame for anything she had made him do. Then Waspsting and Wolfpaw gain up on the Dark Forest cat causing her to disappear back to the Dark Forest, never to be seen again. Waspsting forgives Littlequiver and they become mates again. However, to Waspsting's anguish, Littlequiver gets exiled for five moons, but after that he is allowed back in, and although he is kept under close watch, he is reunited with his Waspsting again, and he is friends with Wolfpaw once more. Concerning the punishment in this plot. Seeing how Little killed both his parents (well attempted to kill his mother that is.) Fallen wouldn't allow him to stay in camp. He would exile him. |

Alright, I edited it so it would end differently. Will it work now? (Also, will he go to StarClan? I personally made it so he was a good cat deep down. He's just really easy to manipulate, and I made it so the Dark Forest cat had manipulated him into the killing. But I would understand if he goes to the Dark Forest, seeing as he willingly killed his father, ahah. Even though both his parents had abused him in the past, I would understand if Littlequiver has to go to the Dark Forest. |

Ah, okay. Thanks! I'm actually going to put him in the Dark Forest when he dies, cause he did kill, but he will probably be forgiven by StarClan and be sent there in the end. <3 |
