Before reading any further, take a moment or two to look through Echopaw's character page in order to familiarize yourself with him.

My Last First Kiss

The basis of this plot is, essentially, that Echopaw is roped into an unhealthy relationship with his childhood crush. He's quite popular amongst the Clan, so said she-cat is only using him to get attention, and when he starts having doubts about his loyalty and leaves the Clan, she leaves him alone in the Outskirts with their kits. He's forced to go back to ShadowClan, and he no longer trusts his instincts.

The words below are the basic guidelines for this plot; for the majority of it, it's free-form, and may use many different interpretations as long as it sticks to the skeleton.


ECHOPAW begins to realize he has feelings for CRUSH. After a few moons of fawning over this she-cat and receiving his warrior name, FRIEND ONE, FRIEND TWO, and NEUTRAL ONE convince ECHOSTRIKE to ask CRUSH on a walk. CRUSH accepts, and on their walk, ECHOSTRIKE admits his feelings for her, and she says she feels the same (whether she sounds as if she means it or motel is about to the roleplayer; either way, Echo will believe her). They return to their Clan; ECHOSTRIKE is overjoyed, but CRUSH feels triumphant.

Timeskip to several moons later: ECHOSTRIKE is beginning to doubt his loyalty to his Clan. CRUSH is satisfied with the amount of attention she is receiving, but is dismayed to learn that she is carrying ECHOSTRIKE'S kits. Even worse, ECHOSTRIKE decides he no longer wants to be a part of ShadowClan, and forces CRUSH to leave with him.

Nine moons later: In the comfort of a TwoLeg nest, CRUSH gives birth to KIT ONE, KIT TWO, and KIT THREE. Once the kits are weaned, CRUSH decides she no longer wants to be a part if the kits' lives, and leaves ECHOSTRIKE alone with his children. ECHOSTRIKE tries to stop her, but she lashes out and cuts him open pretty bad before leaving

Devastated, ECHOSTRIKE attempts to leave for ShadowClan, but KIT ONE dies of over-exertion on the way back. ECHOSTRIKE,
KIT TWO, and KIT THREE are accepted back into the Clan, but not without a change of identity; ECHOSTRIKE decides to change his name to ECHOHOPE.
