One Discovery Could Lead To Chaos.

You... Out of all the average people in the world... Have just discovered that you aren't like many. You have a special power. It is unknown how you got it, but it happened at a point in your life where you faced a life threatening situation. With your power suddenly appearing, you were able to conquer that situation, with many spectators in awe. From that point on, you were treated like a god. You decided to use your power to help those who went through the same situation as you did. Day after day, you help others, but within each day, you slowly begin to feel different... Insane. The more you used your power, the more you felt powerful, and the more you felt powerful, the more insane you would get. This effect would lead you to be the causes of many life threatening situations and even... murders. At one point in time, the power would cause you to reach your maximum capacity of insanity. You were now a psychopath, and you weren't yourself anymore. Your power has changed you to be a feared being of chaos. Those who worshipped you, now hate you, and will kill you at all costs in order to try and undo what you've done to try and bring peace again. Not all people are bad. Some still believe that the real you is still alive, and they want to try to help you come back to reality.

They grew up in a relatively high status and rich household. When violent robbers broke in and murdered the rest of their family the twins were terrified. Their discovered powers lead to them eventually murdering the murderers but they quickly learned to hide it. Growing up without the loving household made them dark and more socially detached from the world. They only look out for themselves and each other, not caring what effect they have on other people.
They're using their powers for their own enjoyment.
