Thornpaw sat under a tree, returning to the scene of her mentor's death. She flinched as she saw Beastspark crush Silvermist's windpipe, blocking off the she-cat's source of air. She snapped back to the past and thought about her new mentor, Softheart.

Thornpaw startled at Blackpaw."Oh. It's just you. Well, hi" She greeted the growling tom. She got up and turned to head into the undergrowth. She couldn't talk to Blackpaw right now, especially after he had been mean to Smallpaw.

Thornpaw turned around and glared at him. "I would of backed you up but bullying a cat about what their future is crossed the line" She hissed. Her tail lashed in annoyance and she turned around and stormed off.

Blackpaw ran in front of her, “I just don’t want to be the one to bury the poor kid. Do you want her blood on your paws?!” He just didn’t want her as another responsibility. He already had enough.

Thornpaw stopped as Blackpaw ran in front of her. "Then you should of told her that instead of bullying her about her future" Thornpaw growled, not in the mood for talking. She turned again and stormed off, heading for the site of Silvermist's death.

Thornpaw ignored him and continued on her way. As she stormed towards her former mentor's death site, her eyes became dull as she remembered what had happened. The scene of the ShadowClan deputy crushing her windpipe and killing Silvermist.
