Croaking is injured

This takes place in the Shadowclan medicine cat’s den

Croakingpaw was thrilled to have finally returned to camp, however; his head injury was bad enough he had to go talk to Irisflame, who told him he had a concussion and would be spending a long time in her den recovering. He hoped his mentor would come visit him.

Pebblefall padded into the medicine den. "Croakingpaw, are you okay, what happened?" She asked, curious, but worried. She sat down next to the apprentice, where there was room. The grey tabby was sad, and angry at herself. I should've gone...I should've gone with him... She thought. She closed her eyes, hoping her apprentice would be alright.

Croakingpaw stared up at his mentor,” The silverdens, they trapped us. Twolegs took us to a giant den and left us there....Beastspark sent in a patrol to rescue us. I tried to escape by rolling the silverden of like the tree branch on the wall of the twoleg and hit my head. I was trying to roll the silverden all the way to camp. I hit my head pretty hard...” he meowed hoping she’d think it was a brave attempt not completely stupid.

"I-I knew...I knew I should've gone with you...I shouldn't have left anyone alone!" Pebblefall meowed, glancing at her apprentice with guilt. "i'm sorry...so so sorry." "But hey, that was pretty smart of you, but it didnt end so well, did it?" The tabby meowed. "What matters is that you are--erm-- mostly okay."

Croakingpaw shook his head,” No. I’m gonna be a warrior one day, I don’t need to be escorted by you for the rest of my life.” he gently pointed out.

pebblefall lowered her head. "you're right...you'll make a great one." she said affectionately, a smile on her maw. "d-do you want me to leave now?"

Croakingpaw flicked his tail,” Only if you want to leave.” he meowed not really sure if he wanted her there or not.
