A dark tabby stands alone on a windswept hillside, his dark amber eyes sweep the clearing below, multiple cats who would normally be loafing about shrink back and stand at attention under his gaze,
“Rouges, Loners, Former Kittypets!” He yowls, “I am Jag, your new leader! If we are to survive, we must form a clan!”
“What’s a clan?” Yowls a cat in the back.
“A clan, you idiot, is a group of cats who live under the rule of a leader, and a Deputy... but ours will be different...”
“How so?” Replies the cat.
“BECAUSE, there will be no Deputy!” Jag hisses with so much anger that the hair on many cats puffs up.
As Jag explains everything about the new clan, the same cat keeps interrupting him, in a fit of rage he yowls,
“What’s your name?!”
“Viktor,” The cat says, stepping forward.
“Well, Viktor you’re going to help me explain one of our... rules,” Meows Jag smoothly.
“Uhkay!” Viktor meows.
“Thank you, stand right here,” Jag says, motioning at the spot where Viktor to stand.
Suddenly, Jag pounces at the very surprised Viktor and he attacks him, quickly breaking his neck, killing him.
Jag looks up, Fire in his eyes and blood dripping down his face,
“From now on,” He meows slowly, “We shall be known as Deathclan, and no one defies me... now, does anyone want to challenge me?”
The cats shrink back.
“Anyone?”
No one steps forward.
“Exactly like I thought, You!” He hisses to a pregnant golden she-cat, “Take the body away, dump it in the river.”
The she-cat nods fearfully and drags the body away.
And so Jag took control of the cats.
