Hi All, since Falconpaw is about to become a warrior, I won’t have an apprentice character anymore and I absolutely love training RPs and General apprentice wildness.

So, I’m introducing Springpaw.

PERSONALITY OVERVIEW: Eccentric, whimsical, and romantic, Springpaw is a peculiar but delightful young cat. He has a very different perspective than most of his peers, and is known for his dream-like demeanor, bizarre musings, and wild whims of adventure and imagination. Springpaw is highly neurodivergent, and canonically has Schizotypal personality disorder. However, Springpaw’s eccentric personality is also his advantage—he is kind and gregarious without boundaries, and has no trouble relating to his clanmates. By the same token, he is also quick to befriend outsiders and cats from other clans, as he often fails to realize why factions and societal boundaries exist. He is soft-hearted, empathetic, and very emotional. Springpaw loves to collect things—shells, feathers, interesting stones—and has been known to gift them to other cats. He has a unique relationship with nature and often anthropomorphizes his surroundings. He often “talks to” the birds, the river, the trees, the fish, and claims they tell him things/tall back. He seems to live in a dream most of the time, and sometimes struggles to focus.

HISTORY: The conflict of Springpaw’s character is that he was born to highly esteemed, very respected, blueblooded RiverClan warriors. Olivepool and Nightspring (for whom he is named) were known for their devout and even zealous loyalty to RiverClan, their judgment towards outsiders and half-Clan cats, and their vicious prowess in battle. They boasted being pure RiverClan, with no outsider lineage. Olivepool and Nightspring were something of a power couple, and died in battle defending the nursery from a rabid coyote. The issue is that their son is absolutely nothing like them. Kind, bubbly, and compassionate without boundaries, Springpaw was meant to be an heir to a noble legacy of ideal Clan cats. It is almost fortunate that Olivepool and Nightspring did not live to know their whimsical, gender nonconforming, neurodivergent son—he would’ve been nothing short of a disgrace to them. Springpaw is unaware that he lives in the shadow of great warriors, and prefers to focus on the living rather than the dead.
