Patchfur smiled as him and Breezepaw padded through the forest silently with her "other" friend by her side. Patchfur didn't really know him but as long as Breezepaw fulfilled her duties it was fine. Breezepaw lifted her head and smiled. I smell a mouse! Can I go get it!? Pleeeeeeaseee!? Patchfur chuckled and smiled back at her. Great work! Of course! We need more food than ever for the winter anyways. Well then, go get it! Breezepaw ran through the bushes and Patchfur lifted up his nose so he could smell her scent in the wind to keep track of her. Wait... That musky stench... OH NO- Patchfur yowled and ran through the bushes. That scent was the scent of dog, not just a mere mouse. Breezepaw couldn't have known since she'd thankfully never met a dog, or at least now she had if she'd already gotten hurt.

"I smell a dog." he said in as much of an alarming way as his psyches and mouth would allow. "A dog!" he raced after Breezepaw. When he reached where breezepaw's scent stopped. He saw the dog, he was ginormous. he still had to help! he slammed into the dog's side bowling him over and sending him running off. "Hey. are you hurt?" he said in a bland way.

Patchfur stood still, petrified. The dog had run, he'd seen it's gaping jaws surround Breezepaw's throat. She was still, silent. The only movement she had was from the breeze ruffling her fur and the fall and rise of her bleeding stomach. I.. I.... Breezepaw? Breezy? Patchfur collapsed beside her and cried. Stay alive. We'll get you help... Patchfur carefully picked her up by the scruff and ran to a more secluded part of the forest. (I'm doing this because the Windclan medicine cat is never active TwT) Patchfur sat her down on a flat rock and ran around the clearing collecting sticks. Elder, can you go find some cobwebs for me? And quick! I don't know how much longer she'll be conscious from the state of her wounds...
