Dewkit was born in RC to [RC Mother] and [Father] approximately 28 moons before present day. Her mother loved her dearly, but her father was absent for the large part of her youth. As time went on, her mother became aware aware of her condition and began to push her away, frightened that the kit would do something too dangerous. As she transitioned into apprenticeship, Dewpaw became determined to make her mother proud and get the attention of her father. She did this is part by defying the wishes of her [RC Mentor] in order to do what she found to be more impressive things. During her final assessment, she attempted to find a snake to catch in an area she had been instructed not to enter. Her mentor caught her and lectured her for a long time, getting more and more angry as Dewpaw refused to show an apology or agree with her points. Eventually, [RC Mentor] snapped and told Dewpaw that she could no longer be associated with her and refused to pass her. Angered, Dewpaw instead appealed to [RC Warrior] who had been assisting in her assessment and convinced her to have the clan leader make her a warrior. Dewpaw was estatic, since she believed this would mean her parents would accept her, but it did nothing of the sort. Feeling betrayed, Dewdrop stormed off away the clan and into the forest.

In her fury, Dewdrop wandered a little too far from the territory and accidentally crossed paths with Thunderclan's patrol. The patrol attacked and chased her off and out of clan territory. Injured and tired, Dewdrop managed to find a hole under a Thunderpath and fell asleep. When she awoke, Twolegs had taken her and bandaged her wounds, but she was trapped in a Twoleg shelter and soon given to a Twoleg. While in the house, Dew was given the name "Isla" and met [Cindy]. She befriended this kittypet, who told her all about Twolegs and eventually helped her escape. Unfortunately, she had no clue where she was or where the clans were. Luckily, she ran into [Rogue 1]. Upon first meeting him, she got into a fight with him, but they eventually called a truce, seeing as neither cat was gaining an advantage. She begrudgingly let him take her to his nest while she figured out how to get home. He soon figured out which direction she needed to head in order to go home and informed her. So, she set off to find the clans once more.
Unfortunately, as she was traveling home, a storm hit her location. She was forced to take shelter for several days, during which she encountered [Rogue 2] (trespassed on his territory). Having completely lost her bearings yet again, she was forced to stay with another rogue cat. The two became friends and spent a couple moons together in his nest. Eventually, they also developed feelings for each-other. However, when Dew confessed this to [Rogue 2], he admitted that he knew where her home was and had not told her in order to prevent her from leaving. Angered, Dewdrop abandoned him and began the journey home.

After a couple days of travel, Dewdrop finally made it back to the clans' territory. When the time came for her to head into Riverclan however, she hesitated. She still harbored bad ill for her clanmates, to the point where she decided she no longer wanted to be a part of said clan. This brought her to considering the other clans. WindClan, she believed, would be too different than what she knew, and Thunderclan had been the ones to attack her, getting her into this mess in the first place. Although ShadowClan initially sounded like a terrible idea to her, she soon realized that it was the best choice. She would get to learn from the best warriors, stay in a forested environment, be in a clan, and meet the famous and awe-inspiring Dawnstar. Plus, what better way to get revenge on the clans that had wronged her than by joining ShadowClan? With this in mind, Dewdrop headed off to find a ShadowClan cat. Little did she know that she was expecting with [Rogue 2]'s kits...
