The Introduction

@GoldenDays

[Thrush] found himself in a clearing. Something felt different. Something was making his fur tingle. He backed himself into the tall grass to keep himself hidden. Eyes narrowing on the clearing and the grasses around it.

Is someone coming to visit?

Thrush hadn't had a visitor since being in this forsaken place. His paws itched with anticipation. Who was it?

Mouse’claw blinked open his eyes, this wasn’t the warriors den, where was he? He got to his paws and glanced around. This place was strange, it made his fur stand on end. “Hello?” he called into the abyss, not expecting an answer.
He must be dreaming right? This couldn’t be real.
It felt to realistic to be a dream but yet to strange to be real.

A curious glow came from his pale blue eyes. He had no idea who this was, but he reeked of a WindClaner. He pressed his lips into a frown before giving his fur a shake and lifting himself up off the ground. The chocolate calico was a small feline, not super tall and lean.

He slowly slinked out of the tall grass, studying the slender black feline before him. Thrush tried to come off as nonintimidating as his voice came out as almost a whisper.

"Wh- Who are you?"

Mouse’claw jumped back, fur on end. “I could say the same to you, stranger, but I’m Mouse’claw, warrior of Windclan.” he had a hostile glare in his eye, as if he were ready to fight at any moment. This cat has a strange smell, reeking of death and nothingness but with a stale mix of two clans he couldn’t quite put his paw on but they were definitely clans from seeking the seastones.

Thrush took a step back, shaking his head and furrowing his brows in a fake worry. Clearly this feline was scared. That didn't matter though, Thrush would play along for now. "whoa whoa whoa buddy," the tom spoke softly.

Mouseclaw of WindClan... of course he was from WindClan

The thoughts echoed in his head. "I j- just go by Thrush now. I used to be known as Thrushflight," he paused, dipping his head a little, "I was a w- warrior of WindClan," he finished, hoping to spike curiosity in this other cat.

"Y- you must be d- dreaming," the stutter in his voice was fake, a play he used in the living world to seem defenseless. "You're in the a- afterlife."

Mouse’claw glared him up and down. “This is starclan? No starclan was said to be a paradise! That and there’s no way I’m dead, it’s not a possibility ” He spat. He hadn’t been sick injured or old so he was definitely still alive, right? How would he ever become deputy if he was dead?
Your lying.” that had to be the only possibility, and there was no was this pitiful cat, soft hearted and stutter mouthed was a warrior of windclan either, warriors were powerful and had clan names to match. This cat had neither.

Re: The Introduction

@GoldenDays

Thrush flinched at the younger warriors tone. His eyes sparked something unreadable as he took a few steps closer to the warrior now. Maybe a touch will calm him down? Make this seem more real?

"I- I'm not lying! I swear!" he started, his voice sounding desperate now, continuing to creep towards the slender warrior one step at a time, watching his movements carefully. "I to- told you! You must be dreaming. So- sometimes you get brought h- here in your dreams. It means y- you're special," Thrush continued to explain, closing the distance between them. His voice was soft, careful, and eager. "L- let me help you figure out w- why you're here."

The distance was closed now. Thrush stood at the black tom's side, his tail creeping up to rest on his shoulders gently. The touch of another cat was thrilling. Something he hadn't experienced in so long. However, there was a different reason for Thrush getting so close. Mouseclaw would learn that quickly.

Mouse’claw stepped back, he’d never been touchy, heck he’d even go as far to say he disliked physical touch or even affection in general, so it was reasonable, at least to him, why he jumped back when the former warrior placed his tail on his shoulder. “I’m not special, I’m just another warrior, which I’m proud to be. How do I get out of this place I have things to do.” he mewed, hopeing that, if this was a dream, he’d wake up at any second now.
The grumpy Tom glanced around for anything that seemed like an exit, maybe if he left physically he’d be able to wake up, seemed like as good of an idea as he’s going to get.

Re: The Introduction

@GoldenDays

Thrush seemed to follow the tom as he stepped away from him. The heat from the touch still burned into his tail. Oh, how he missed, but now the warrior wasn't even paying attention to Thrush. He was trying to escape.
How disrespectful.

Eyes narrowing suddenly as Mouseclaw was looking for an exit, Thrush took the moment to slam himself into Mouseclaw's side. If successful, Thrush would quickly immobilize the warrior, pinning his paws down and pressing a paw down into Mouseclaw's throat. The tom wasn't done here, if Mouseclaw wasn't going to listen, Thrush would make him, even if it was getting in his face.

Thrush had a totally different look now, his pale eyes were blazing with ambition and thought, his body was rigid, and his muscles were outline beneath his short coat. "Would you like to know where you really are?" Thrush spoke lowly, the corner of his mouth turning into a smirk.

Mouse’claw fell to the ground at the sudden shove to his side, he hadn’t expected the previously timid cat to Ram into him.
He felt the dark warriors paw on his throat, it was suffocating, Mouse’claw tried meekly to paw the Tom off him but it wasn’t working.
He noticed the newfound ambition and power in Thrush’s eyes and, well he knew he shouldn’t, he couldn’t help but have a sort of respect for his power.

No! This cats attacking me I shouldn’t think like that, I need to get him off me he continued to try and squirm under his grasp but Thrush’s claws kept him in place.
ugh! Get off me you mangy flea-pelt!” he couldn’t help but wonder how Thrush was doing this, he’d never been taught how to completely immobilize a warrior.
