Bumblestep has had a rough few months. He fled Riverclan a few moons ago, upset with the constant war and what it drove cats like Stormtalon to. Originally planning to just cool off outside the territory, Bumble ended up setting up camp outside of the territory for much too long to still be considered a Riverclan cat. Too scared and embarrassed to return, Bumblestep has been living outside the clans as a loner.

Thats where your oc comes in. During Bumble's isolated time away, I want him to have made a friend. Someone who talks to him, checks on him, cares about him etc. Eventually I want this new friend to convince Bumble to return to Riverclan!

Personality: in his rebellious teenager phase; seemingly arrogant but just confident in his abilities (and he is quite skilled), tries for slyness with varying success; often comes off as a curious fool (curious, yes, but not actually a fool); will ask many questions; strong beliefs but smart enough not to comment on it; very amiable (he wants everyone to like him unless he decides that they're stupid); He Is Still A Child (but not as bouncy [and reckless] as some warriors children); perceptive (he needs to be considering—), will needle his way into your personal issues without a firm "NO. mind your own business"; has been through some Stuff™; has a controlled fear of badgers and... something else
Possible plot? Triton is on a talk-to-every-RC-warrior-you-can-find streak. Of course, when he first meets Bumble, he doesn't know that he's a RC cat. Two ideas for the first meeting: a) Triton's wandering through the forest (prairie? wherever Bumble's at); it's the dead of night and Triton is Terrified. He swears there's something chasing/watching him (there may or may not be) but Bumble encounters him and (calms him down? degrades him for being scared? attacks him thinking he's a rogue?) option b) is less interesting but it's daytime (or dusk) and they just. stumbled across each other. maybe hunt together for bonding purposes. I think Scenario A is much more interesting and it could lead to them having a Heartfelt Conversation, which is always a plus, but it's ultimately your choice. From there, they slowly (or quickly?) become buddies. Since Bumble is older, Triton would totally look up to him (unless Bumble turns out to be an unimpressive coward but that's unlikely).
Anything else! Triton is technically in the process of joining ShC, but it'll take awhile for him to officially get in, and he'd also totally visit Bumble regardless of the rules. It's not like anyone would be able to stop him, and it wouldn't hurt for him to do extra hunting on his way back. Also, he won't tell Bumble when he becomes a ShC cat. Triton already smells like pine; it won't be too suspicious (or so he thinks).
