Part One
So, while lounging in the clearing [Mate] catches her eye. [Mate] could be someone she knows, or only a cat she's spoken to once or twice. [Mate] is also intrigued by Leechfang and approaches amiably. Leechfang is flustered, and they proceed to have a few more interactions before eventually they become hastily decided mates. Of course, since this is rushed, [Mate], gets frightened and breaks it off pretty quickly (like a little more than a moon). Leechfang, however, finds out she's pregnant soon after. She goes to the nursery, single mom pregnancy, blah blah blah. Except in the nursery she meets [Queen] who becomes fast friends with her. [Queen] will be there for the birth and help out the proud but anxious Leechfang. [Mate] notices that Leechfang has been gone from warrior duties by now and investigates, wondering if she'd ran away. She hadn't. [Mate] tries to fix the relationship, but Leechfang is over it. [Queen] helps Leechfang in keeping [Mate] away from the kits.

Part Two
A few moons will pass, the kits (Kit 1 Kit 2 and Kit 3) are probably around three moons when New Mate starts to talk to Leechfang. They'll talk for a while, Lechfang will be wary of then for a bit, but eventually become friends. New Mate is respectful to Leechfang and her kits, and will often bring the small family prey. After a while, Leechfang notices she is attracted to New Mate but doesn't act on it. New Mate has had feeling s for a little but is now dropping small hints here and there. After a while of this, Leechfang is finally ready to act on her feelings and confesses first.

Part Three (aftermath, not an actual part)
Since this isn't rushed, the next surprise that comes will be when the first litter are younger apprentices (7-9 moons). Leechfang and New Mate will be expecting their first bio litter! A nice surprise for Leechfamg this time.
