The Hourhand Motor Inn
The Hourhand Motor Inn is very simply.. a motel. Tucked into a corner next to an interstate highway, and down the street from the quaint blue collar diner. Run primarily by Maria Los Condenados, head manager. Supposedly there's an owner but he's never been seen by any employees other than the head manager. The guests usually sit outside to converse, the internet was spotty enough that they decided to get to know each other. Strangely even through the largest droughts of customers, somehow the motel has stayed afloat. Aside from the weird regulars, That wasn't the strangest thing about this motel, but surely it was normal enough for a comfortable stay.. right?

Isabel _________ Isabel was.. bored. There was no work for her to do as 'assistant manager' so she just walked around the motel parking lot.. at night. She'd be fine, if anything did happen there were the Security Guards and they'd protect her.. hopefully. As she walked along the sidewalk she took a few quarters and tried to get some Kombucha from the vending machine, as the old thing slowly turned.. it got stuck. "Goddamn it." She shook the vending machine a bit as she tried to get her drink to fall down but to not avail. She looked around as the lights flickered for someone to help her, and she saw Kory. She whistled at him and said "Hey Kory, doesn't look like you're doing your job. Think you can help a teen out?" |

~~Ciara~~ {OPEN} Ciara parked her car and she and her daughter, Midnight(Moonwatcher), got out. Midnight jumped up and down. "I;m so happy we are on vacation!!" She cried. Ciara shrugged. "Really, I just needed a break from my hometown. Too many memories of Kane." She walked to the hotel doors and swung them open. She sat down on a couch nearby and took out her diary and started drawing in it. ~~Midnight~~ {OPEN} Midnight watched her mother start drawing in her diary. Poor Ciara. She remembered Kane's last moments in the hospital. Ciara was ever the same. She set their bags down and sat down and started playing on her phone. Then her phone started buzzing and making noise. A LOT OF NOISE. |

Rachel questioned herself as she carried her bags into the motel. Did she really want to stay here? She sighed slightly, sitting down on a chair as she grabbed her phone from her bag. She typed the code in, green eyes settled on the device. But then she realized... there was no internet. "Damn," she muttered. "Are you kiddin' me right now?" She'd gotten really many messages recently, and she just wanted to reply to them right now. |

' She wasn't a receptionist or anything, just a cleaner, but may as well attempt to strike up a conversation with this. . .seemingly very annoyed individual, while she didn't hate it here herself, Wyatt could see why it'd give people a bad taste in their mouth. | @starry. |

Rachel let a gust of air escape from her mouth, slightly nervous as someone talked to her. She wasn't the best at socializing, but she might as well try, right? If the internet didn't work, this would be her closest method to texting. "I mean, I've never been here before so I can't really build an opinion yet. Not the best start, though. Uh... I'm Rachel, and who are you if I may ask? Do you work here, or are you a guest, too?" She didn't particularly like bombarding others with questions, but it was the best way to start off a conversation. |

' She mostly kept to herself, so this was, awkward already, not due to anything said it kind of just, was awkward for her whenever she socialized. Actually, that may be something she should improve on, considering that due to the lack of internet, people would turn to communicating with other guests and workers, like she was. | @starry. |

~~Midnight~~ {OPEN} Midnight yawned, opening her phone. She kept her ringer on at full volume, which was a big mistake. Midnight was staring at some old texts when one of her two friends called her. The ringtone was so loud it echoed on the walls. She declined the call as fast as she could and looked around. Lots of people were looking at her. Ciara had got jump scared and had fallen off the couch. She stood up and glared at Midnight. She looked down. Oh no... |
