Elijah sat on a bench in the city park, headphones on and phone in her pocket. She had her blue hair up in a ponytail, and wore a white t-shirt and black jacket that she stole from one of her friends. Elijah had a notebook in her lap, pages filled with music notes and lyrics. She sighed, unable to find a good word that rhymed with what she'd put before. She snapped the notebook shut, and put it in the duffel bag that she'd brought out with her. Maybe playing will give me an idea, She thought, pulling a small portable piano keyboard out of the duffel bag. She plugged the headphones into that, and started to play it.

Elijah looked up at him, and smiled gratefully. She actually really needed that money. She pulled down her headphones, letting them rest on her shoulders. "Any song you'd like to hear? 10 bucks is a lot. Thought I could play something to thank ya." She said sincerely, fidgeting with a key that kept getting stuck.

Elijah gave a nod and got back to playing. She hummed along, trying to imagine what the lyrics might be. "So how's your day been?" She asked Carter, not taking her eyes off the keyboard.

Elijah smiled. "I'll do that! I'm Elijah Sullivan." She said, taking the card he handed her and putting it in her pocket.
