So as I’m sure many of you have seen, the Fawncloud babes were born! Even though it wasn’t long ago, I’m already wanting to get this plot finder out so that I can have this kick off as soon as she’s ready!

So Otterkit throughout her apprenticeship is going to struggle with her sexuality. She’s only interested in fem presenting cats, for example someone who identifies as female or is non-binary but fem presenting. Even once she realizes she’s gynosexual it’s still going to be a battle with herself to accept herself.

So here’s the general overview of the plot!

 

Otterkit has always been a rather affectionate cat, and will be throughout her life. While it can become overbearing, it also can make it easier for her to make friends and develop relationships. So in her early life, Otter meets [fem kit] and decides that this is someone she wants to be her friend. Dead set on this, Otterkit begins to bother the other constantly with her love language, being gifts and physical touch. They’ll grow up together through their kithood.

Now later on, Otterkit starts to feel almost queasy and nervous around this friend. She won’t understand it at first, and it makes her feel as though she’s starting to dislike this friend. With guilt on her conscience Otterkit turns to her father, Cloudjumper, about her worries. The conversation will result in Otterkit realizing that it’s the complete opposite of disliking her friend, making her highly upset about her love life. She was supposed to end up with a family like her mom, with a mate and kits.

This’ll be where her struggle begins, with her and her friend entering their apprenticeship not too long after, Otter is going to have to battle with her own feelings to keep her friend. She’s terrified that if she were to give into her feelings and tell her friend that they’ll end up leaving her. The fear of not getting the family she always thought she’d have would also play a big role in her hesitance to be honest with herself. She’s going to attempt to force herself to develop crushes on masc presenting cats, but it doesn’t work.

My hope is eventually that these two will become mates after they’re warriors. This does not mean they have to remain mates their whole life, but that is kinda my goal!

This is a plot that’s going to take time and activity, and as such my big rule on this is that you’re active with this character and willing to do threads with Otter to develop their relationship. This is not first come first serve, this will be open for a bit before I decide.

If you’re not chosen and would like to still have your character be friends with Otter, we can work that out. But this will hopefully be a one and done thing. If you can’t keep up with this, please let me know.
