Fire vs Fire [ p ]
~~Nora~~ { @spookysock } Sometimes life hates you. Indeed life hates you. Yes, thank you for reminding me about that, Nora. Her mind spoke to herself. Magic was something to be avoided, said her adopted parents. Magic will make you evil they said as well. Magic is something to be glad of, said her other adopted father. Magic is a gift, don't feel bad. Yeah, says the guy who left her alone AGAIN after his death and he didn't tell her. So now she was here. Foxes bring bad luck, says the others. Fire means bad and the flames only bring destruction. I have more than fire! She wanted to argue, but was too scared. And here she was now, ears pinned, tail tucked beneath her legs as she walked down the hallway, holding her books close to her chest, taking deep breaths... |

Theo Parker she/her || ginger hair and green eyes, wears a white and red striped sweater and black leggings He had always said that she had to be great. To fulfill her destiny. And apparently, to fulfill her destiny, she had to attend a school of magic where everybody hates each other. He had also always called her a screw-up. A disappointment. And as far as she knew, it was true. All her life she'd heard stories of what he'd done, about the powers he'd possessed. And Theo was supposed to have those powers too. The road would be tough. Like, wicked tough. But she was determined. Well, determined and horrified - but mostly determined. She would become what he wanted her to be. She had to. Coffee in one hand, books in the other, she rushed down the hallway to her next class. It was essential that she got to it on time, as she was failing nearly every class, and the teachers had a distinct lack of mercy when it came to students being tardy. This class was her least favorite: Magic History. Every day she would hear about him. About Dark Magic, and what it could do. About how it was so bad, and also more so about how it was illegal. Lost in thought, she didn't even notice when she bumped into another girl, losing grip on both coffee and books. "Damnit! My sweater!" She wasn't at all concerned about Nora. |

~~Nora~~ Nora was trapped in her head. She didn't see the other girl coming her way, and she was bumped into. Something hot spilled on her clothes and body. She yelps, the flames on her ears and tail got brighter, her blue eyes also got brighter as well at the pain. She staggered back, dropping her books, and they went into the coffee puddle on the floor. "I-I'm sorry! I wasn't looking where I was going! Do-do you want help?" She prayed that her body wouldn't burn anything as she tried to help pick stuff up for the girl. |

Theo shook her head. "No, it's fine. I'm new, do you know where the Magic History class is?" (sorry short post, schoolwork :\) |

*Nora lightly burned her book when she picked up* *She dropped it, feeling her tears slowly turn to steam* "It's down the hall and to the left. Fourth door on the right after that." *She kept trying to pick up her stuff and her panic was making her fingers burn it so she stopped trying after a while, wiping her glowing blue eyes* |

"Uh... thanks," Theo muttered, picking up her books. This girl was acting weird, and to be frank, she didn't much like it. "See you around, I guess." |
