Practice Makes Perfect [Semi-Private]
】【Sedgestorm: The Moon, Reversed Purrk- Sunburned*, T1 Herbal Knowledge : Rogue : he/him】【 Sedgestorm led Spark back to the den he'd made for himself in the outskirts, keeping an eye peeled for any herbs he'd need for the wounds on the other tom's neck. He was trying to forget the awful sight of the small white and wriggling maggots in that neck wound of his. On the upside, he was pretty sure he knew something that would make the pestilence making home of his body either vacate, or it would kill them. But it would sting with a vengeance, and he knew he was going to have to be very careful to not ingest it himself. It wouldn't do them any good if he became sick on his patient. As he traveled, he spotted a few herbs he needed, and indicated for Spark to halt while he picked them. [ +2 burnet , +1 cedar bark , +1 marigold ] In the end, he was loaded with plenty of herbs to help deal with this, and happily trotted on, trying to be mindful of the pain the tom was in. Once they had returned to his den, he dropped the plants in a safe spot and turned to Spark. "Make yourself comfortable in any of the nests, I'm going to take a look to see if I'll need anything other than what I carried. I'll be quick, I promise." [ @Beanz ] |

Re: Practice Makes Perfect [Semi-Private]
He quickly checked through his stores and grabbed the poppy flower, shaking free a mere 3 seeds. He frowned, but picked one up, stashing away the others for future use, and padded back to Spark, offering the tiny seed. "Here, eat this. It should help ease the worst of the pain and help you relax. Afterwards, I'll apply something that'll keep those wounds of yours from getting infected." He waited for Spark to accept the seed before he stepped back to the new herbs he brought. [ -1 poppy seed ] He debated back and forth on whether he really wanted to disinfect the wounds first, or if he wanted to deal instead with the maggots in his neck. He couldn't do anything more for the tom until those little nuisances were no longer making a home of him. Grumbling, he picked up the cedar bark and returned to Spark, grabbed a small pawful is moss for use in what came next. "Change of plans, I think you'll do better once we get those things out of your neck. I'm going to apply something that with either kill or make them leave. This is going to sting a lot. Do you want me to start applying, or would you rather I find something for you to bite during the process?" He carefully ducked his head to tap his nose to Spark's side in an act meant to comfort the much younger cat. [ @Beanz ] |
