I'll Make a Warrior Out Of You! [T]
| Fawnsplash | She/her | ThunderClan | 17 moons It appeared the Ferretpaw had gone missing. It was quite annoying to the young warrior; the apprentice had gotten along pretty well with her and now he was gone. She didn't want to imagine all the possibilites of what could have happened to him, there were so many bad cats and bigger threats than her own species out there. A little sigh escaped from her maw. Cats coming and going seemed to be a normal part of clan life by now - no one really cared, it happened almost daily that another cat was gone. Was this what would happen with Shadepaw and her new apprentice as well? Would they disappear from ThunderClan and she'd get assigned new ones again? Adderscorch was one of those cats she had not seen in a while as well. Not that she had something against it, he'd always been super rude to her. However there had been something that always drew her to him. Now she could not explore that odd sensation any further; he was gone. Her bicoloured gaze darted around the warriors' den and she briefly debated going on a hunt with one of her denmates. Then, she realized that since she had been entrusted with another apprentice - Woodpaw, if she recalled correctly - so she should definitely take him out for some training. With a tip of her head she rose to her paws, letting the slight breeze ruffle through her pretty white, cream, and brown spotted pelt. Her whiskers twitched and she tilted her head upwards, noticing the weather was nice. The sun was showing through the camp walls. Finally. She was so done with the snow and hail that had pestered ThunderClan and their prey the last few moons. This change in temperature immediately lightened her mood. A small beam settled on her maw and she made her way over to the apprentice's den. Bright hues settled on the brown tabby and she trotted over. Fawnsplash gently attempted to touch his fur with her fluffy tail. "Good morning, Woodpaw. Let's head out for some training, shall we?" she offered lightly. "Join me at the camp entrance when you're ready." With that she padded over to the camp entrance and patiently waited for her apprentice to join her. She was in no means in a rush today; she had all the time in the world to teach Woodpaw. Luckily she found it easy to be patient with young cats. | @Blazing [Woodpaw] | |
Re: I'll Make a Warrior Out Of You! [T]
As the sun slowly rose over the horizon, the sky was painted the colours of watery blue with flickers of soft white clouds drifting above. The forest was masked with golden sunshine, and it sang songs of life with chirping, singing birds. The wind and breezes swept across the land, caressing the trees and the leaves, ruffling the greenery and the grasses. Rustles of the bushes rang from prey sneaking around for acorns and food. Everything was peaceful and quiet, and usual-
Until the sound of paw steps broke the silence. Two felines appeared from the undergrowth, one larger, one younger, both silent, thinking inside their thoughts. The eyes glinted brightly under the shadows of the leaves, and rays of light beamed through occasional flickers. It was cool within the protection of the forest, and droplets of the morning due lingered upon the grass. While the warrior thought about her past clanmates, both friend and foe, the apprentice was deep in his thoughts on various topics, his orbs glinting thoughtfully as his head was slightly cocked. His fur was brown, and he was a tabby. Through the occasional strays of light, his fur turned blazing orange, as in a ball of burning fire. His eyes were the warm yellow of the sun, and despite the calmness that stood inside steadily, ripples of excitement could still be seen. After all, he was still one of the young apprentices dreaming of adventures out in the while, winning battles, training, and hunting, proving their worth for their clan. Before long, his tail twitched ever so slightly, as Fawnsplash started, a light offer to the youngster waiting at the edge of the camp clearing amidst the forest of ThunderClan. The clan was bursting with life with working and frolicking cats. The tom looked up at the sudden molly standing in front of him, and a small, gentle smile appeared on his muzzle. "Good morning, Fawnsplash," he said with a faint dip of his head in respect as he stood up, stretching. It was an aura of maturity that rang off his voice of vibrant emotions, though still rather calm for his age. "Of course," he said delightfully at the thought of training. It excited the apprentice to head out of camp. He could've snuck out, but he didn't feel like it was the right thing. He's still too young to go out all by himself. Watching as the warrior paddled to the camp entrance, Woodpaw decided not to linger for long; he had no other things to do anyway. Acornpaw wasn't here... probably with Blazepaw again, he thought rather bitterly at the thought of that. The new apprentice so suddenly jumped into their life, and the tom doesn't have a single bit of welcoming for them. Instead, he felt a pang of hostility. Shaking the unnerving feeling that prickled his pelt off of him, he trotted over to his mentor energetically, hoping that some training could shake such thought out of his mind. After all, he may be wrong... but is he? (@starry sorry for late reply :') ) |
