Hera sat on a cliff side staring across the lake beyond the trees. She had traveled so far from home just so she could find herself. She felt the cool morning air flow through her fur. Her journey so far was short but large at heart. She had left Midnight and her family behind so she would be able to learn about herself through inner peace.

*A tiny white kit with a twisted paw was wandering around, her belly growling pitifully. She hadn't eaten in awhile. She spotted a she-cat ahead. Maybe she could help? She hesitantly came closer, praying this was nice cat, nothing like the one who had given her her scars.*

" Hey there little one. Is that paw hurting you? "
