Rook sat in a clearing with his younger(?) sister, tiredly lying down with his head in his paws "Hey, Cardinal? Did father ever tell you why he left us with uncle Jake, and cousin Red and Snow all those moons ago?" He asked her with a yawn.

"But... I don't know... What did happen to our mother? Uncle Jake never said what happened," Rook had a lot of questions he had never thought of asking his sister before as he wanted to ask his father, but since his father hadn't come back by the time they left their uncle and cousins he never had the opportunity to.
