.. Yeah, this wasn't the brightest of ideas that Gutspaw had conjured up. Dawnstar had put the camp in lockdown once more, wasn't too long ago it had been stuck as Gutskit. Everyone was on edge. The last time it had escaped from camp teeth had found the remnants of its brother. It just - needed space to bloody think. For a moment. Away from the bustling noises of camp, away from .. reminders. It missed its brother like it missed a part of its soul.

The only thing that brought solace to Gutspaw was nightly cold air and searching for .. acorns. ShadowClan didn't have many, unfortunately. If at all, actually. Pinecones? Sure. Similar, but not enough. Not for what it wished to fiddle with. So, the black tabby stepped out of the boundary and into the Outskirts. It had no plans of straying far, incredibly aware it would need to sneak back in before sunrise but surely there had to be some laying about.

So, Gutspaw searched and searched. Paws stepping silently on the grass, blue irises scanning the landscape. A large tree caught bite's eye and it started to approach it. .. Oak, perhaps? If so, that was just what it needed. It picked up the pace and was pleased to stumble upon a couple of acorns that had already dropped. Hmm. It glanced up.

Could always manually grab them up top if need be, but for now Gutspaw started to pick up the ones that had fallen.

Gutspaw had a mouthful of acorns when a quiet voice spoke. It whirled around, staring at a stranger that stood illuminated by the moonlight. They looked almost right out of a dream. Still, teeth's claws unsheathed and the fur on the ends of its back rose. It had never talked to an outsider, er, not really (.. never did much talking in that shelter) but it wasn't exactly like they were poised as friendly. It dropped the acorns, rolling them carefully underneath teeth. "Already found what I needed, screw off, " Gutspaw snarled, daring the stranger to take another step forward.

The other looked around teeth's age surprisingly. Seemed well off, too. Only had a small scar which was somethin' when you were alone, having to defend yourself from abyss knows what. "..Why would I ever want to disrupt the Void? You speak of things you don't have a lick of knowledge about and it shows, " Gutspaw stated bluntly, unlikely such an outsider would truly know what the call of the void was. The in-between.

"..Yeah, you sound like you're tryin' to poison me dude. Thanks for scaring the fur off me and all, but I'm gonna take my acorns and leave. You follow me and I'll slice your throat, " It threatened, narrowing teeth's eyes at the feline. It truly did not need to have some .. peculiar cat attempting to trespass. It picked up the acorns, still keeping its claws unsheathed, and turned away - getting ready to leave.

ARGH. Gutspaw was ticked off by this asshole. What a weirdo!!! "I don't got a temper, I'm PLENTY fun - I'm just don't have the time to be playin' friendly with outsiders of all cats, " It huffed, tail twitching erratically with unfounded irritation. Gutspaw snorted at the idea of the Void talking to this rogue. "Because if you did, then you wouldn't be blatantly disrespecting it. Also, really just 'cause you have no reason don't mean you won't. Plenty of cats will do stupid crap for no reason just 'cuz they want to. Trust me, I know idiots, " their home was full with them after all.

Far too many of teeth's clanmates itched for a chance to draw blood - justified or not. Gutspaw shook its head back and forth. It would walk a few pawsteps before the stranger uttered something that sent rage shooting through its fur. IT? A POINDEXTER? The apprentice had no reason to prove itself.

No reason. They would likely never see this cat again. Still.

Bite whipped around, dropping the acorns. "I have GREAT social skills 'n I'm sure I can do far more than you can dream of. Besides, it's not MY fault you presented a boring yet weird proposal. You aren't giving me ANY details, and you're expecting me to blindly trust you? If anything, YOU don't know how to be charismatic. " Look. The feline wanted to know what this cat was on about. It wasn't everyday they talked to someone outside of ShadowClan. Could teeth let the other know this? No. They were already annoying.

Gutspaw was going to commit a murder. Seriously. Its fur bristled, top lip curling up in irritation. "So, you're a thief! A bloody thief, that was your whole gist, " It was so stupid that the apprentice couldn't help but burst out laughing. "And I would better hope for your own sake stealin' from ShadowClan hasn't ever crossed your mind, " icy irises followed the other.

"Careful, if you fall on your face I am going to laugh my ass off even more, " It mewed, rolling one of the acorns back and forth between bite's paws. "And no, I ain't no squirrely ThunderClanner who's going to go munching on acorns. These are for my ... " Er, its voice trailed off, "..Experiments, I guess, " yeah, that worked. "Not that it's any of your concern.
