A Sky Full of Stars

Fallensky poked her head from the warriors den, gazing at the sky in awe. She hadn't seen this many stars in moons! The young warrior took a few minutes to take in the beautiful view. She thought of her mother, her brother, Fleetpaw, and her little half-siblings. Thank you, StarClan... She whispered, the silent prayer rising up. She wondered if there was any cat she knew up in the stars. Taking another couple of moments to gaze up at the stars, she cleared her throat. She knew that there would be some cats sleeping at the time, but it wasn't very late yet, just dark. And... Well, starry. WindClan! She called, her voice soft, but heard. The stars are lovely tonight! She cried, a warm smile appearing on her maw. Who wants to stargaze? She figured it'd be a nice, calming event. It'd give cats alone time, or time with loved ones. She wanted to spend her time with Fleetpaw. That was the main reason she wanted to do this. A nervous grin spread across her face as she looked back to the stars. She had so much to tell Fleet. But what if he got mad? She hadn't told her mother yet, either, so Daywhisper would probably get mad, too. And... What if she told Fleetpaw, and he said he didn't love her anymore? The smile disappeared, and she looked down at her paws. Anyone? She called again, looking into the mass of cats. Oh, Stars. Whatever would she do?

HOW THIS WORKS:
This event is very simple, and doesn't need explaining at all! It's just a fun event for cats to hang out and for kits to stay up late and play! Open to all ages! <3

Hearing the call, Robinflight poked her head out of the nursery, ears perked. She looked up and saw the beautiful stars. She closed her eyes a moment, missing Shadowkite, but thankful for the beautiful night thay blessed Windclan. He was surely watching tonight.

She stepped out. "Come on out, Cardinalkit, Crowkit, we'll make an exception to your bed time for a little while to see the stars." She purred to her two kits before padding over and sitting beside Fallensky. Despite the lovely night and having called out to the clan, she seemed a bit downtrodden to be looking down at her paws. The queen purred reassuringly to her clanmate.

The two kits tumbled out of the nursery, Cardinalkit in the lead as she puffs out her chest and raising her tail proudly as she follows her mom out of the nursery and sitting beside her and Fallensky. "Wow..." She whispers, green eyes wide as she looks up at the sky. This was her first time seeing the stars, and silverpelt was truly beautiful. She wondered if her dad was looking down on them.

Crowkit was right on his sister's tail, head low and blue and yellow eyes darting back and forth. It was dark. Sooooo dark! His fur bristled a bit as he hurriedly followed his mom and sister, placing himself between his mom's paws where it was safe. He wanted to go back to sleep, but didn't want to be alone in the nursery.

Heatherpaw heard Fallensky's voice and slipped out of the apprentices den. The stars were really out tonight. She gazed in wonder, and saw one of the stars twinkle at her. She wondered if it was her mother, Sagepelt, her father, Nettleswipe, or her younger brothers, Dustpaw and Reedpaw, who never made it to adulthood.

Owlpaw loved staying up past her bedtime!! yay!! she half-skipped over cheerfully, eyes gleaming in the moonlight. She saw a target, a fellow apprentice, and crept up behind them before leaping out, stumbling, and then scrambling upright. "BOO!!" the feline exclaimed, shaking out her pelt with a devilish grin.

Ferncurl slunk out behind Robinflight, golden fur standing out starkly in the darkness. She sat beside her friend, murmuring hello to her and the kits, and tilted her head upwards, to the stars. She hope her sister would come out, and if she didn't, Fern would drag her from the Warriors Den herself.

The blue she-cat bounded out the den, dark blue eyes searching the night for her sister. Eventually, she spotted Ferncurl and crept over, sitting beside her. Ferncurl looked pleased, and Dream nuzzled her littermate, purring. Soon, she too titled her head to the stars. They really were beautiful.

Copperpaw flicked his ear. Was there something going on? He got up from his resting spot and stretched. He hoped this would be something good enough to spend a couple less minutes sleeping. He looked up at the sky, expecting the usual night but was instead amazed by the stars painting the night sky. Had he ever seen something like this? Copperpaw wasn't sure but it was certainly something.

Lilacbird gasped at the beauty as she stepped into the clearing. A tear fell from her eye as she thought of her father, who might be one of those gorgeous stars.

The ginger she-cat purred a greeting to Ferncurl as she approached. Then her eyes fell on the new she-cat. After a moment, she hoped that she had put together the right hints. "You must be Dreamheart, right? Ferncurl's sister?" Ferncurl had mentioned planning to introduce Robinflight to her sister. What a perfect opportunity!
