You storm back into the warriors' den, not even checking to see if Leafkit and Flamefall are following you.
How is he even the deputy when he won't even help his own kit to find his mate. Honestly, you'd think he'd be a better cat, but nope.
"Where is he?" Leafkit asked from behind you. "Why do we have so many warriors."
"Well, that's so that every cat gets fed," Flamefall explained, but with a look from you, he shuts his mouth and continues looking.
"Where did we find him?" you ask.
Leafkit shrugged. "I don't know, Bluekit."
"Over there," Flamefall pointed with his nose farther into the den.
And then you saw it. A flash of movement. Your father. You hurry in that direction. Leafkit and Flamefall share a look before following you.
"You're going to come with us," you yell to your father.
"Hey, careful there," Goldencloud was as calm as he could be. "You're waking them up."
You glance at the warriors and see that he's right. "Well, we will unless you help us."
Leafkit nodded. "You have no idea what us kits can do."
Flamefall didn't say anything, so you keep talking. "Think about it, but not for too long."
You turn and walk a little way before stopping and looking at Goldencloud.
"Okay, fine," his voice was a whisper, but you could hear it.
You had all gotten out of the warriors' den. You had been yelled at, but when they realized that Goldencloud was with you, they stopped.
"Okay, so what do you want me to do?" Goldencloud sighed.
"Find Longflight with us," you glare at him.
"Okay, where do we start?" Goldencloud asks a question that you've been wondering yourself.
Where shall you start? (Hint: You might want to revisit soon places because Longflight might be there now, and because you have the deputy with you as well. That doesn't mean that she will be there, just keep that in mind.)
