Strikecry perked up at the mention of his name, then--OHHH. The. RiverClan leader and the medicine cat?? And he and Sweetpaw were on.. guard duty? Although, technically, the RiverClan leader would be like.. really good at fighting if he was the leader, wouldn't he? Or else why would Snakeheart bother choosing him? God, life was complicated. Well, anyways, he should get to the patrol. The tomcat walked over to his apprentice and the rest of the cats, brisk and efficient.

"Oh, hello, Kestrelwing, Snakeheart," he meowed calmly, his elegant body swishing behind him. "Quite a gorgeous day we're having, don't you agree?" He raised an eyebrow at Kestrelwing. "I do hope you're enjoying your stay--we strive to make sure our guests are comfortable." He flattened his ears at Kestrel's words, though not angrily, exactly. "Oh. Our moor is.. not to your tastes?" He hmmed for a second then shrugged. "I suppose that, if I were to walk amongst your rivers and marshes I would dislike it as well." He spun towards the entrance. "Shall we be on our way?"
