“Alright, I‘ll give it my best. If you must laugh please do it when I’m below water, spare me some embarrassment,” she joked.
Taking a deep breath Frostfeather dove underwater. Opening her eyes she could make the outline of Amberpaw’s shape. She swam forward, switched her positions and planted her paws in the ground. Her breath running out, she gave a tremendous push of her legs upward, going blindly for the apprentice above water.
This was harder than it looked. Using the hind legs meant that you left it up to chance whether your legs could grip the enemy.
Her legs broke the water and she felt them slowly fall around amberpaws shoulders. She gave a sharp tug but she felt her legs slip away from the smaller shescats body and fall empty back in the water.
She resubmitted, slightly grasping for air.
“Ah well at least I felt you,” she purred, happy that her attack had at least landed.
“Alright let’s redeem this team with your attempt now!”

She nodded, taking a deep breath and diving underwater quickly. She could see Frostfeather pretty easily, and planted her paws in the ground as fast as she could. She wasn’t that great at holding her breath, so she’d have to do this as quickly as possible. She knew she had no chance of dragging her down, so she decided to try the other option. She leapt out of the water, slapping Frostfeather across the face with her paw, before landing awkwardly back in the stream.
