Rearing up, Starlingflight used her paws and brought them down on the water's surface, spraying water into the apprentice's face. Within the next second, she had slipped around and hooked onto Baypaw's hind leg with her paw and yanked the smaller cat off balance.

Backing off then, Starlingflight waded from the river and flicked her paws. "Good work, Baypaw. You've got the makings of a fine warrior." She purred.
