Whitewolf considered Turtlekit's question. She seemed awfully upset about it and Whitewolf couldn't blame her, although she'd never been bashful or coy as a young one. Not many cats remembered Whitewolf's youthful days--she was outgoing, reckless, and hotheaded, and that would probably surprise everyone in ThunderClan if she mentioned it.

"Maybe you're shy," said Whitewolf. "Do you get anxious about talking to others? Are you afraid to approach anyone?"

"I am shy, and I hate it!", Turtlekit whined. "I'm never able to talk to anyone!" Picking up her mossball and chucking it on the ground, she watched as it rolled away, too angry to pick it up again. She looked up at Whitewolf. Her face was filled with anger, but also... sadness. Her only wish was to be able to play with others, but it seemed to never come true.
