because of the events that are happening in shadowclan birdkit dosenot feel safe in shadowclan do to her half-clan blood and plans on leaving shadowclan one night she tell her plans to her brother treekit who refuses to leave saying that it would be foolish and she will get cought and probably killed because she would look like a traitor but birdkit is determan to leave shadowclan but cat 1 overhears them and confronts birdkit asking to go with her birdkit agrees and the next night they leave to find a differnt clan to join.
