The little she-kit squirmed where she was and she sniffed the air. Was that the scent of...milk? Boy, was she hungry! She followed the scent of milk and found herself pressed to something soft and warm. She started feeding on the milk, getting a bit sleepy.

Clovershine beamed down at her kits. She'd never wanted them, but they were perfect. They're great. she meowed back at Chickadee. Do you want to give them names? She pulled them closer to herself, wrapping her tail protectively around them.
