Stormpaw set down the leaf again and backed up. She got into the right stance and then pounced. She landed right on the leaf. Stormpaw got off of the leaf and hooked a claw on it. She couldn't believe that she had actually done it. But, Stormpaw wasn't going to act like a kit around her new mentor. So, she just looked at Lightningstrike.

Lightningstrike's expression brightnened. "Good job, though I don't think you can squish a piece of prey to death" He laughed. "I made the same mistake when I was an apprentice. Try not to bounce so high next time, or it might be off target" Lightningstrike instructed the apprentice
