Re: The Thunderwillow
Oh, joy. It seemed like his proposal had really stirred things up. The whole Clan was thrown into turmoil. He hadn't really heard anyone that agreed with him yet, but Icicleripple, as bad as it was, was in charge and had the final decision. Who was he kidding, though? She was a medicine cat. She would rather dig a hole to hide herself like a mole before starting violence. Sometimes, a little violence was necessary. That was how ShadowClan had become the powerhouse that it was right now. Dawnstar knew how to spread fear and take over.
What a bunch of cowards. Stormfang cast a glare over at the kit. What a wretch. He wasn't even going to bother himself with responding to such a shallow-minded cat. He then met Whitewolf's glare evenly. When the tom didn't speak, he turned away. If the tom didn't have the guts to speak after what Stormfang had said, then he obviously didn't have much of a mouth to form his own opinions. He just agreed with what the majority of other cats said.
He paused, listening to Twilightwing. Totally disregarding the first-half of her statement, Stormfang nodded. "Yes, disguising our scent is a great idea. Nice thought. Hopefully, we can strike quick enough that the guards won't have a chance to react."
Whipping around to confront Larkstorm, he retorted, "RiverClan will know that something is wrong when we don't show up to the Gathering. If you hadn't noticed, there's been a bit of tension between us lately. You know, the whole thing with Lionstorm." Even after multiple cats explained it, Stormfang wasn't totally sure he understood what exactly went down that day, but this wasn't the time to ponder it. Casting a challenging gaze over to Clovershade, he replied "Then give me a better idea, Clovershade. I'm pretty sure Kestrelstar won't have a problem with attacking our camp."
He sighed. He didn't have the communication skills or the patience to say what he wanted without offending cats. Turning to Icicleripple, he meowed, "With all due respect, I feel that you are a bit overwhelmed with leading the Clan. You are trained to heal cats, not order them around and strategize with their fate resting on your decisions. That is fine. I am simply suggesting a different plan in which we might have a chance at survival. Who do you think is going to win, an organized Clan with all their high-ranks in place and a good plan of attack, who actually uses their warriors for what they're supposed to be used for, or a Clan led by a medicine cat who just got her full name and is a little bit unsure of how to prepare. Again, no offense, but I think you should listen to a couple of advisors. We need a plan from cats who know what they are doing."
