Again Stormfang had a big mouth but Whitewolf knew he wasn't going to get up and do anything about his words. That was what fearful and dishonorable cats did and that was the way Whitewolf had begun to see him; if he wanted to prove her wrong then he'd certainly have a long way to go. If it were like Icicleripple to chew out the cats who questioned her publicly then Whitewolf would advise her to demote him to Stormpaw. Whitewolf herself could re-mentor him until he was broken enough to keep his sorry mouth shut.

"This is the last time I say this, you sniveling coward, since you seem too deaf to heed my words: if you want to give Icicleripple your 'advice,' which seems to me much more a series of demands, then talk to her after she dismisses the damn meeting." Whitewolf had half a mind to push this moron from a tree. If cats actually agreed with him, he'd be making Icicleripple look bad, but it seemed most of ThunderClan had taken Whitewolf's side.

Good. They could wait to argue until Icicleripple was finished with her announcements.

Just when Whitewolf hoped the meeting would end--being so exhausted from shutting up her clanmates and knowing she'd still have to punish Fernpaw after this--Tallkit sprung up into her matted fur. That was a high jump; the one from the ground up to her shoulder. But Tallkit was overdue to become an Apprentice and she made it without an issue.

"Tallkit," she said somewhat firmly, brows knitting together in something like concern. The adults were arguing, after all, and arguing adults scared the young ones away for very good reasons. "It is difficult to relax when discussing Clan politics. What are you doing out of the nursery?" Her gaze softened when the little fluff called her 'mom,' but likely not enough for them to notice. "You should be resting."
