Redspark purred louder as he looked down softly at Softleaf. The words caught the tom off guard, he hadn't expected that so soon but he pushed that thought from his mind and shrugged, it was time he just followed his heart, forget his brain "I think I'd like to maybe be something more" He murmured once more nuzzling against the other tom's cheek.

Softleaf smiled in return and licked the tom's cheek affectionately and he nodded, burrowing himself into the tom's fur. Who knew his first friend would end up being his mate? StarClan surely sent him a blessing. He felt happier than he ever has in a long time.
