Re: Windswept Plains
Wildclaw hissed as she exited WindClan territory.
That punishment is so stupid! She would hiss to herself. The moon rose slowly into the sky and the sun sank downwards, filling her surrounds with a mixture of reds, oranges and bright yellows. She let out a long yawn, ans shook out her dusty white fur. Wildclaw would need to find shelter soon, or risk facing the dangers of nighttime. The tabby striped head twisted this way and that in search of a den or any shelter.
Her yellow eyes caught sight of a tiny two-leg shack in the distance.
That'll do. She thought to herself. As she padded closer to the den, the stinging stench of dog flooded her senses. A horrible loud bark erupted in her ears and a massive black shape lunged at her. Wildclaw shrieked and yowled in surprise.
Right before it could snap her neck, the dog was yanked back by a some sort of vine. It's foul breath was mouse-lengths away from her nose. The grey tabby she-cat turned tail and bolted away. Judging by the glimpse she caught of the vine holding the dog back, it would be on her tail in seconds.
Her guesses were right and Wildclaw heard a sickening crunch as the dog broke free of it holding, and it bolted after Wildclaw.
Nightfall began to set in, making it harder to see. Wildclaw felt a overwlming weight crash down on her and sharp teeth and claws dug into her fur.
