(So sorry, this took forever. I'm guessing we transition into the leaders den now?)
Beastkit glared at his brother and rolled his eyes. "Leechkit! You can't keep insulting her." Leech was annoying, but he was his brother, and he never meant anything mean. At least, most of the time. As the pair pulled off the last piece of prey, Lionkit shot out from underneath. To him, her dramatic reentry into the non-prey smushed world was normal. Lionkit was a queen of over reacting. It might have annoyed Leechkit, but to Beastkit, it only made her more lovable.
"It's okay, Lion." He shot another glare at Leechkit as he licked the lilac kits' forehead. His brown fur seemed to turn grey from the dust rubbed onto his chest, though he didn't mind. As she stumbled through another complaint he grinned. When they went to go see Mama, they would have quite a few stories to tell. "If you almost diedid, then we can tell a story like Tawnypaw!" His eyes widened with excitement. Beastkit didn't understand the concept of death. To him, it was moving to another clan and having fun all day. He didn't understand the concept that everyone that he might love would disappear and he wouldn't be able to talk to them again.
"We should go to Mama's den now!" All of his new friends were gone for now, so it only made sense. They could tell her about Oldcat, Darkcat, Tawnypaw, and Snowypaw! To him, that would be the best part. Telling their mom how many cats they met in one day and how awesome it was! Beastkit started to walk over to an opening in the clearing before stopping abruptly and staring at his feet. "Leech," he turned back to his siblings, "Do you know where is Mama's den?" He tilted his head in confusion as he waited for a response.
As Beastkit stared at Lionkit and Leechkit, he blinked hard. It seemed as though another kit had appeared as he turned away. "Midnightkit!" He bounded towards his sister and slid to a stop, spraying dust all over the clearing. "Why do you sleep so much?" It felt as though he never spoke to his amber-eyed sister, though he most definitely had. She waws more like Leechkit than Lionkit, which usually resulted in her making Leechkit mad, though that was funny. "Lion fell under some prey and we had to pull her out." Like always, he missed the tone of her voice and answered questions as though he was deaf. With a heave up, he attempted to quickly bump noses with Midnightkit before quickly turning around. "We're trying to find Mama! Do you know where her den is?
