After having ushered Whitekit out of the den, the rest of the day had gone rather smoothly. The sun had faded into the darkening sky and an almost full moon started to take its place. With a little sun-high nap under his paws Kestrelstar wasn't feeling too tired, and instead was muttering to himself. He had a few cats in mind that he wanted to speak to in regards to the Shields rank he had announced the last meeting - the only thing left was to get Splashleap's input on it.

A voice at the entrance of his den startled him a bit. It was late, the rest of the Clan should be asleep. Recognizing it to be Graytail, Kestrelstar nodded to the queen, yellow eyes flashing in curiosity. "Graytail. I hope you're settling in well. What did you want to talk to me about?" the leader questioned, wondering if this would be a short conversation or on the longer side. There was much to do, and he still needed to find time to sleep himself. But for now, he settled back onto his haunches as he waited to see what Graytail wished to speak of.
