Webpaw
Webpaw bit her lip as she listened to Sunsetbloom’s explanation. She wanted to prove the kittypet wrong, but she couldn’t find a single flaw in her logic. Which angered Webpaw, she had learned how to hide her emotions when needed, but unfortunately smoke always came off her fur when she was angry. So coming off of her fur was small puffs of smoke, it wasn’t that much as she wasn’t too too angry. The smoke was always more and thicker the angrier she got.
She waited until Sunsetbloom finished speaking before speaking,”
I see your logic, but your blood determines your abilities. If you have Windclan blood you’ll be good at running, Shadowclan blood good at sneaking, Thunderclan blood good at climbing, and Riverclan blood good at swimming…what does Kittypet blood have?” she asked keeping her rude thought to herself
the ability to get fat and lazy. That was all kittypets did in her mind, obviously she’d never been to the twolegplace but she always imagined that they just sat their and stuffed their faces with crowfood and let the twolegs rub on them all day.
While she seemed annoyed with all this, she was secretly realizing something about herself. Something that she could grow over. She needed to face that fact that she had the memories of the crazy former Thunderclan medicine cat apprentice Frostpaw. She refused to believe she was a reincarnation, frankly that possibility seemed impossible, but somehow Starclan messed up and accidentally gave her Frostpaw’s memories. Frankly, she wondered why Frostpaw hadn’t visited her in the dreams. Webpaw would admit she would have liked to meet Frostpaw, and let Frostpaw berate her for getting a copy of her memories. She figured the least it could do was give her the knowledge of herbs. That knowledge might come in handy one day. She didn’t want to be a medicine cat, she knew that, plus even if she wanted to, she’d never to able to stand being Snakeheart’s apprentice. Never in a million years,”
I have the memories of a dead crazy cat.” she casually told Sunsetbloom, unsure of why she felt the need to share that with someone.
Blizzardsky
Blizzardsky flicked his tail,”
I agree. When I was a kit, I was always getting in trouble and was quite gullible, plus I was quite pudgy as I turned it into a game of how much prey could I eat without standing up, since I was late to become an apprentice and most the kit games grew tiresome.” he meowed
As Sunsetbloom talked about the seasons he had to agree with Sunsetbloom on at least one more thing, leafbare was better for his thick fur,”
Can’t agree more about leafbare being better on the fur.” he meowed. He was a maine coon afterall so it was no surprise the hot summers were tough on his fur. He frankly was jealous that others wanted to cuddle with Sunsetbloom for warmth,”
Only cat that ever cuddles me for warmth is my mate, Heronflight…and my kits, when they were little. Wherever most of them are.” he meowed not allowing himself to dwell on it.
Blizzardsky flicked his tail,”
I’ve sort of had a few apprentices. I get assigned them, and after the first training session they disappear. I always search for them and report them missing, but they never show up. So I’ve technically had three apprentices. But I’ve never kept one for long. I think I’d be a good apprentice, but again back to my past. No one trusts me with an apprentice, most queens when their kits are due to become apprentices request from Kestrelstar that I don’t mentor their apprentice. I think it was because of the time I was forced to leave a kit in the territory when I was a new warrior. I don’t know if you knew Lionstar, but he banned me from interacting with kits because I was playing a bit too rough with one and got her injured. Anyways, I was out of camp hunting and found a kit alone in the territory, a Riverclan kit. The kit was frightened and lost, but I knew I wasn’t allowed to interact with her because of Lionstar’s rule so I had to run back to camp and fetch a nearby warrior to come rescue the kit. Everyone says that it’s proof I am a danger to kits and apprentices, but I was just obeying Lionstar and I immediately got another warrior to fetch the kit because I wanted to ensure the kit was safe.” he meowed, at this point Sunsetbloom had likely realized that he was missing a few bolts, or maybe cats would say missing a few branches instead?
He flicked his tail before continuing,”
I think another reason is because of how my fathering turned out. I originally adopted a kit I found in the territory, but one day she went missing…it was mostly because Sootstar didn’t want me moving into the nursery, so I failed to see her sneak out that night. Then about seven moons ago my mate and I had a litter of kits. Two of them disappeared during the night, I don’t blame myself as both I and my mate were in the nursery and the somehow disappeared. Then the others disappeared two. Petuniapaw became an apprentice and then disappeared…long story short. I don’t think anyone trusts me with an apprentice because I’m just an annoying mess-up.” he meowed
