While Kestrelstar demanded a certain level of respect, the 'sir' reminded him too much of Petuniaflame and her polite way of speaking. Memories of the white and orange warrior danced through his mind briefly, though yellow eyes were devoid of any hint to them.

Brushing it off, the gray tabby gave a nod. "He recently joined our Clan and I don't believe he's had any training yet. Make sure to show him around the territory, where the borders are. Be careful near the ShadowClan border - you know how Dawnstar is with the loose leash she keeps on her warriors." A snort. "If you have any questions about how to train an apprentice," the leader added, yellow eyes narrowing slightly as Floodfrost admitted to not knowing what to do - was this the right choice in mentor? - "let me know and I can supervise a training session or two."

Turning to Bramblepaw now, Kestrelstar gestured with his head towards Floodfrost. "Floodfrost will be your new mentor. I'll speak with Skysplash to figure out why she didn't train you. In the meantime, you two better get stared as soon as you can. Is there anything else either of you need?"

Was there just a cat? No there were two cats she wanted to talk about. First Flyfur the nice elder cat who had showed hee two-leg place and whatever that one cats name is. The one that said he had fought against Kestrelstar at the battle. She wanted to know what truly happened there. And maybe just maybe see if they could try to rejoin.

"There are actually two cats. One her name was Flyfur. She said she was a former Riverclan queen and warrior. She helped me to find two-leg place to look for you. I told her I'd talk to you for a spot if she ever tries to come back. She probably wouldn't come back, but I promised her I'd talk to you for if she ever changed her mind.", meowed Petuniapaw. She'd get to the former apprentice next. Right now she wanted to focus on just the one.

Although he didn't remember the former queen too well, Kestrelstar was aware of the name. It was one he'd heard spoken of, though she had been long since missing when he took over RiverClan's leadership. "Of course, any cat that wasn't exiled for a good reason is always welcome to return to RiverClan, so long as they pledge their loyalty to us." He gave a nod at that, then fell silent once more as his head tipped to the side, wondering who the next cat was.
