Stormfur and Dewfur both waited outside the den as the two good friends were waiting the meowed together. "Kestrelstar!" Stormfur felt his fur go hot he was doing a bad choice his friend did need an apprentice for her own. The two warriors looked at each other. Would Ivypaw be in good hands?

Sleep was beginning to become few and far in between, what with how much time Kestrelstar was spending at his mother's grave. A constant state of exhaustion seemed to creep its way into him, parting his jaws in a yawn as two voices were heard in unison, yowling for him. Flattening his ears against his head, the RiverClan leader lifted himself from his nest and stretched each leg in turn before padding forward. "Come in," he called, beginning to groom a patch of fur on his shoulder as he waited for the two warriors outside to come in.

After having finished a small trout - his dinner for the evening - Kestrelstar swiped his tongue across his maw and stood up, arching his back in a huge stretch. As much as he wanted to simply lay down in his own nest and attempt to sleep, a thought had been weighing heavily on him for a couple days. Irritated, annoyed, though he would try to not let it show - at least for now.

Padding forward to the entrance of his den, yellow eyes scanned the clearing for the cat he was looking for. "Skysplash, if you've got a moment," he called for the warrior, beckoning for her to follow him into his den as he turned to disappear back inside.
