Turning his icy stare to the other rat- I mean cat.. Vulture'fang didn't hold back any snarky comments. " You just gonna stand there and stare? Or actually talk half-pint?" yes the comments were rude.. But boy did it feel good to speak his mind.

He blinked his eyes with surprise at the tom's rude comments. Perhaps he had bothered him at the wrong time. He thought about whether he should be insulted or scared. The insults didn't really faze him he heard worse from his mother. There was a hint of annoyance in the toms voice ask he glared at them. Could he possibly be annoyed that he was trying to be friendly? He stared at the ground with nervousness and started kneading it out of habit. I'll just make a tactical retreat then see if he wants to talk at a later time... Oh but I wonder if he's gotten a tour of camp yet! "Oh well, I just wanted to say hello! Who did you get as your mentor?" Silkheart hoped he wasn't being too nosey. He threw a glance at Halfbite wondering how he would respond to the new tom's comments. Am I that short?!
